7、method of measuring the resistance to dynamic cut-through of protection sleeve for electrical cable and cable bundles. It shall be used together with EN 6059-100. 2 Normative references EN 3475-501 Aerospace series - Cables, electrical, aircraft use - Test methods - Part 501 - Dynamic cut-through EN

8、 6059-1 O0 Aerospace series - Electrical cables, installation, protection sleeves - Test methods - Part 1 O0 - General 3 Preparation of specimens A specimen with a length of 150 mm to 300 mm shall be slid over a metal mandrel with a diameter which is the same as the nominal diameter of the sleeve. 4

9、 Apparatus See EN 3475-501. The specimen to be tested and applied on the mandrel shall be mounted on the fixture instead of a cable as specified in EN 3475-501. 5 Method The method shall be in accordance with EN 3475-501 with a needle load which is specified in the product standard. 6 Requirements There shall be no electrical contact between needle and mandrel. i) Published as AECMA Prestandard at the date of publication of this standard.
