10、) Aerospace series - Polysulphide sealants, two-component - Technical specification 2) EN 2090 EN 3624 3 Definition For the purposes of this standard, the following definition applies : Resistance to thermal rupture : assessment of a sealant sample with respect to changes such as cracks and the meas
11、urement of any permanent deformation, after the application of pressure at elevated temperature. It is determined by testing a set of test pieces directly after curing and another set of test pieces after immersion in defined test fluids. 4 Test fluids The applicable test fluid shall be the referenc
12、e test fluid no 1 in accordance with EN 3624, unless otherwise specified in the material standard. 5 Apparatus 5.1 Test containers The test containers shall be made of material resistant to the test fluids and having no catalytic effect (e.g. they shall not contain any copper), preferably glass. The
13、 size of the container shall be such that it can hold the amount of test fluid specified in 7.1 and that the amount of air remaining above the test fluid is kept to a minimum. The containers shall be sufficiently airtight to avoid any interchange with the surrounding air. 5.1 .I For unpressurized im
14、mersion in fluids which show no appreciable evaporation or moisture absorption at testing temperature, containers with an attached lid can be used. No exchange of air (entry of surrounding air) shall be permitted. 5.1.2 For immersion in volatile or moisture-sensitive fluids at ambient temperature, c

16、EN 3101 : 1997 5.1.3 If evaporation of the test fluid is expected, e.g. in the case of fluids with high vapour pressure or at high temperatures, tightly fitting containers, e.g. with ground stoppers, and fitted with a backflow shall be used. The condensors shall be shut off from the atmosphere by me
17、ans of a simple flow valve or a dry tube. 5.1.4 containers complying with the relevant safety regulations shall be agreed upon. When using dangerous fluids and gases and when testing under pressure, appropriate test 5.2 Support of test pieces For the support of test pieces, use materials having no c
18、atalytic effect and resisting to the test fluid. The support shall ensure that the test pieces are exposed to the test fluid on all sides. 5.3 Temperature regulated equipment Heat sources shall be capable of achieving and controlling at the temperatures specified in table 1 and those used in the mat
