2、 of Defense. 1. SCOPE. This Commercial Item Description describes a commercial, gasoline engine powered, multi-purpose funeral service vehicle utilizing a commercial van chassis with full window body. 2. 3. a. CLASSIFICATION. The van shall be one of the following types: Type I - Full size standard v

3、an, two rear wheel driven Type II - Mini-size van, two front or two rear wheel driven SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS: Curb weight. The vehicle fully equipped with a full compartment of fuel, lubricants and coolant shall weigh not less than that specified below. weight shall include all standard equipment a

The Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) shall be the vehicle curb weight plus the total number of passengers shown in the following paragraph 2.p, at 175 pounds each. The vehicle shall meet or exceed the requirements of FED-STD-307, c. Performance. The vehicl

7、e shall be capable of transporting the rated payload at a continuous speed of not less than 55 miles per hour (MPH) on level pavement. start to 55 MPH in not more than 20 seconds on level pavement while transporting the rated payload.
