According to studies, keeping track of your daily weight can help you lose weight and keep it off.Researchers from University of Pittsburgh and University of California studied the self-weighing habits of 1,042 adults over a 12-

Half of the participants were given a scale and asked to weigh themselves and record their results every day. The other half werent given a scale or any instruction to record their daily self-wei

The researchers found that almost one-third of the participants who weighed themselves daily lost at least 5% of their initial weight during the first year.The participants who weighed themselves daily and tracked their weight were more likely to associate what they ate with how much

Overall, the researchers think the simple act of stepping on a scale reinforces(强化) healthy eating and exercise patterns and makes the participants aware of times when their less-than-healthy behavior is affecting their weight.Interestingly, daily weighing was most effective for the ma
