His lack of understanding caused him to stop attending college and focus on what he felt was important. His story had a happy ending, of course, since he certai
13、nly turned out well. This doesnt mean that students shouldnt attend college, but rather that they shouldnt worry so much. Youll get where you need to go, even if your path is a bit more winding(蜿蜒的)than youd like.Jobs talked about the hardships in his work. His love of his work helped him carry on a

22、n it), this message can have a big impact. This is how we help our kids develop a sense of responsibility. When our children develop this responsibility, theyll be more disciplined, and theyll control their emotions better. When we give rewards to our kids, we reduce the sense of responsibility. We
23、also create children who may temporarily perform to a certain standard, but who arent likely to continue the performance without the carrot hanging in front of them. “Rewards and punishment can change behavior for a while, but they cannot change the person who engages in the behavior,” said Alfie Ko
