12、nts cover the electrical system of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), as defined inthis Outline, used in flight for commercial applications or flight incidental to business applications inaccordance with U.S. Federal Regulation 14 CFR 107. UAVs covered by these requirements are intendedto be operated
13、by trained pilots as identified in the Federal Regulations, where the UAV is less than 55lbs (25 kg). The UAV is intended to be provided with an internal lithium ion battery that is charged froman external source. UAVs are intended to have an operating voltage of not greater than 100 V dc, and arein
14、tended for outdoor operation. These requirements also cover the electrical shock, fire and explosionhazards associated with the inherent features of these UAVs, as well as the battery and charger systemcombinations provided for recharging the UAV.1.2 With reference to 1.1, flight for commercial appl
15、ications is considered any operation where the UAVis intended for a specific use; which may include, but is not limited to, agricultural applications, scientificor research applications, government or local police applications, search and rescue applications, videoapplications for the film industry
16、or news broadcasts, and the like. Flight incidental to business is a subsetof commercial applications that may consist of roof inspections by insurance agents or constructionworkers, real estate photography, and the like.1.3 This Outline does not cover:a) Model aircraft, or hobby use, UAVs which are
17、 marketed to and intended to be operated bythe general publicb) The aspects of control associated with the human pilot (pilot error), UAV handling, contact orimpact of the UAV with external objects, people or structures, or adverse weather conditionssuch as high winds that may affect operation;c) Th
18、e ability of the UAV to correctly or adequately perform its intended operation;d) The ability of the UAV to land safely if the battery is discharged in flight;e) Any physiological effects associated with the use of UAVs;f) Devices for use in hazardous (classified) locations, which are subject to add
19、itionalrequirements to mitigate risks of fire and explosion; org) UAVs used for any military or similar tactical operation.h) The efficacy of UAV communications or the effects of the loss of UAV communication duringflight.1.4 The requirements of this Outline do not consider Federal Regulations assoc
20、iated with the operationof commercial UAVs. 21、 UL2 Components2.1 A component of a product covered by this Outline shall comply with the requirements for thatcomponent.2.2 A component is not required to comply with a specific requirement that:a) Involves a feature or characteristic not required in the application of the component in theproduct c
22、overed by this Outline, orb) Is superseded by a requirement in this Outline.2.3 A component shall be used in accordance with its rating established for the intended conditions ofuse.2.4 Specific components are incomplete in construction features or restricted in performance capabilities.Such compone
