FOREWORD It should be noted that the manufacturers and products listed could possibly change. Document is constantly under revision to include new manufacturers and products. 1. SCOPE The

6、 following list consists of hose data provided as of December 2017, and is for convenience in determining acceptability of nonmetallic flexible hose assemblies intended for usage under 46 CFR 56.60-25. Where the maximum allowable working pressure (MAWP) or type of fitting is not specified, use the m

7、anufacturers recommended MAWP or type of fitting. This list has been compiled by SAE Staff from information provided by the manufacturers whose product listings appear in this document. Manufacturers wishing to list their products in this document shall: a. Successfully test their hose to the requir

8、ements of SAE J1942, Table 1. b. Submit a letter of certification to the SAE J1942 test requirements for each specific type of hose tested (see sample table on page 4) along with the test results. All sizes should be included in the same letter which must also include all of the information necessar

9、y to make a SAE J1942-1 listing. c. The SAE will review the letter and may, at their discretion, request to see further test results. A copy of the submittal letter marked “Accepted for Listing” will be returned to the applicant upon approval. d. The cutoff date for inclusion of a hose listing in th

10、e annual SAE Handbook is September 30, of the preceding year. However, listed hoses may be used on vessels as soon as the “Accepted for Listing” letter is issued by the SAE. Next publication of this listing is scheduled to take place in December 2018. If you wish to include additional hoses in the 2

LISTING INSTRUCTIONS 3.1 Column 1 - Hose Number List each complete hose supplier catalog number, including the size (one line listing for a series of hoses will no longer be acceptable.) 3.2 Column 2 - Application Code Will show an HF, F, H, VW or NVW. For HF and F listed hoses the type of fi

14、re resistance test (Type A or Type B) in accordance with SAE J1942 shall be listed. Type B hoses can be supplied for Type A applications, but Type A hoses cannot be supplied for Type B applications. Hoses with an F and H rating, at the same working pressure, should be rated HF, good for all services

15、. If a hose is qualified for use in both an F and H application, but at different working pressures, or requires a fire sleeve for either application, it must be listed twice, once for F and once for H, with the appropriate information for each listing. Hoses listed as F can be used for VW and NVW a

16、pplications and do not require a separate listing for VW and NVW. Hoses listed as H can also be used for VW and NVW applications and do not require a separate listing for VW and NVW. Hoses listed as VW can also be used for NVW applications (at 50 psi). NVW listings are for NVW listings only (refer t

17、o Table 1). Because of the multiple uses for F, H and VW hoses, no hose has to be listed more than twice. 3.3 Column 3 - Hose I.D. The actual hose I.D. shall be shown in fractions. 3.4 Column 4 - Maximum Allowable Working Pressure Shall be shown in PSI. VW applications can use F and H hoses at the p

18、ressures shown in the listing or their own listed pressure. NVW applications are all rated at 50 psi maximum. 3.5 Column 5 - Fittings Shall show the catalog number of each fitting style used on each hose size. 19、 of the appropriate fire sleeve if one is required. A dash () indicates that a fire sleeve is not required. 3.7 Column 7 - Listing Date For all hoses now on the USCG list, this date will be the date that SAE J1942-1 is printed (The USCG letter date will be dropped). Future listings will be the date

20、the hose is added to the list by SAE. 4. NOTES 4.1 Revision Indicator A change bar (l) located in the left margin is for the convenience of the user in locating areas where technical revisions, not editorial changes, have been made to the previous issue of this document.
