1、Amendment-2 7 Bovember 1973 .- SUPERSEDING Amendmen t-1 23 February 1972 MILITARY SPECIFICATION VEST, SURVIVAL, TYPE SV-2B This amendment forms a part of Military Specification MIL-S-81523A(AS), dated 17 January 1969, and has been approved by the Naval Air Systems Command, Depart- ment of the Navy.

2、This amendment deletes “EQUIPMENT“ from the title and changes “Type SV-2At to “Type SV-2B“ wherever they appear in this specification. 17、thin a fiberboard shipping container conforming to MIL-B-17757, Type CF, Domestic Class, Variety SW, Grade 200, Size 3A. The top and bottom of the contents of each shipping container shall be completely covered with a sheet of 30 pound minimum basis weight kraft paper con- forming to UU-P-268, Grade

18、 B. The container shall be assembled, closed, and reinforced in accordance with MIL-B-17757, except that metal fasteners or stitches shall not be used. All the seams, corners, and manufacturers joints shall be sealed with the tape conforming to PPP-T-45, Type III, Grade A, B, or C. The body joint an

19、d the top and bottom flaps shall be glued together as specified in MIL-B-17757. Page 14 Add the following new paragraph: “6.4 Fit examination gage - The Defense Supply Agency Gage Number 610 re- quired by 4.5.1.1 will be supplied by the contracting officer.
