Designs shall be based upon the conceptsand requirements described in this specification.3.1.2 Eauiument reauired.3.1.2.1 Gear units. Gear units requ

43、tion with respect to the second reduction gear, and soforth, are pertinent, they shall be as specified (see 6.2).Where they are not specified, such details shall be left to thechoice of the contractor.Limiting dimensions, limiting weight, interface requirements (e.g.,sump oil level, see 3.2.2.5) and

44、 shaft rake shall be as specified(see 6.2 and 3.1.16).Rotation of the output shaft of the gear unit shall be as specified(see 6.2).3.1.2.2 E u ment and accessori s. Equipment, fittings, andaccessories shall be furnishedwith the gear unit by the contractor unlessotherwise specified in this specificat
