AMENDMENT 1 14 June 1988 MILITARY SPECIFICATION ADHESIVES, FIRE-RESISTANT, THERMAL INSULATION This amendment forms a part of MIL-A-3316C, dated 20 October 1987, and is approved for use by all Departments and Agencies of the Department of

PAGE 5 3.5.1, first sentence: Delete and substitute: “The flash point of the adhesive shall be higher than llOF (see 4.4.4).“ PAGE 7 3.16: Delete (see 4.4.15)“ and substitute “(see 4.4.16)“. 3.17: Delete and sub

To determine conformance to the requirements of 3.4, the manufacturer of the compound shall disclose the formulation

6、of his product to the Commander, Naval Medical Command (MEDCOM-02) Washington, DC 20372 for approval. The disclosure of proprietary information, which will be held in confidence by the Naval Medical Command, shall include the name, formula, and approximate percentage by weight, and volume of each in

7、gredient in the product; the results of any toxicological testing of the product; and such other information as may be needed to permit an accurate appraisal of any toxicity problem associated with the handling, storage, application, use, disposal, or combustion of the material.“ PAGE 18 * 6.2.2.1:
