2、 of the Navy.Page 7 Paragraph 3.5.4 Add the following sentences at end:The fuel scheduling counter shall be easily operated to set the quantityof fuel to be transferred. Manual cranks shall not be employed. As adesign objective, time required to set the fuel scheduling counter fromzero to any desire

3、d reading shall not exceed ten second. Failure ofthe fuel scheduling mechanism shall not affect operation of the additivecounter which indicates the quantity of fuel that has been transferred.Page 11 Paragraph 3.15.3 Change to read: “Strength: Probe strengthshall be in accordance with specification

Retractable probesshall be capable of extension and retraction at the cruise speed of theaircraft and shall be capable of remaining extended at the cruise speedof the aircraft.Page 12 Add paragraph 3.15.4.1 Emergency Extended: Retractable probesshall be provided with an emergency extensi

This system may bea “one shot“ system but must be positively locked in the extended position.The emergency extend system shall not utilize the same power supply systemutiilized for normal extension. The switch which sets the fuel system toaccept air refueling shall not be tied to the emer

6、gency extend system in away which would preclude returning the fuel system to its normal transferoperations.
