PURPOSE The purpose of this Marshall Work Instruction (MWI) is to provide instructions governing the receipt of Government-owned or contractor-acquired personal property from any source at Supply and Equi

33、pment Management Officer (SEMO)-approved receiving points at the Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC). 2. APPLICABILITY 2.1 This MWI applies to the personnel, programs, projects, and activities at Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) including contractors and resident agencies to the extent specified

34、in their respective contracts or agreements. (“Contractors,” for purposes of this paragraph, include contractors, grantees, Cooperative Agreement recipients, Space Act Agreement partners, or other agreement parties.) 2.2 Further, the intent of this MWI applies to the receipt of personal property at

40、e by the contractor during the contractors performance for the Government. 5.1.2 Controlled Equipment. All equipment with an acquisition cost of $5,000 or more, an estimated service life of 2 years or more, not consumed or expended in an experiment, and selected items of equipment designated and ide

41、ntified as sensitive by the Center. (See MWI 4200.1, “Equipment Control,” Appendix AMSFC Sensitive Items List.) 5.1.3 Customer-Supplied Product (CSP). Any hardware, equipment, or materials supplied by a customer (for the purpose of fabrication, testing, storage, electrical, electronic and electromag

42、netic (EEE) parts screening, analysis, and/or refurbishment) that are to be returned to the customer upon completion of services at MSFC.
