2、ERVEABILITY PERFORMANCE AND SERVICE INTEGRITY FOR TELECOMMUNICATION SERVICES Recommendation E.81 O The CCITT (the International Telegraph aid Telephone Consultative Committee) is a pennanent organ of the Internationai Telecoinmunication Union (ITU). CCITT is responsible for studying technical, opera

3、ting and tariff questions aid issuing Recommendations on them with a view to standardizing telecommunications on a worldwide basis. The Plenary Assembly of CCITT which meets every four years, establishes the topics for study aid approves Recoinmendations prepared by its Study Groups. The approval of

4、 Recommendations by the members of CCITT between Plenary Assemblies is covered by the procedure laid down in CCITT Resolution No. 2 (Melbourne, 1988). procedure on the 30th of October 1992. Recoininendation E.810 was prepared by Study Group II and was approved under the Resolution No. 2 CCIT NOTE In

7、) Introduction This Recoinineiidatiou is a guidance on a set of closely related Recommendations concerned with the serveability performance of telecciininuiiication services, as listed below. 8、rvice as perceived by the users; (b) tliat such ob-iectives ciin then be used as a basis for the design, planning, operation aid maintenance of (c) that Recoinineiidaticiii E.800 contains terms and detinitiotis for the Quality of Service, including (il) that scrveability pcrformaiice requires the co

9、nsideration of several measures; (c) that calls models are needed in order to describe the serve-ability performance showing, for each tclecciininuiiicatioii service coiisidered, the correspondence between the different call phrises ,and the relevait incasures; tclecoinrnutiicatioii iietworks atid t

12、uation and allocation of serveability and service integrity; E.845 - Connection accessibility objective for the international telephone service; E.84 - Accessibility for 64 kbit/s circuit-switched international end-to-end ISDN connection types; E.850 - Connection retainability objective for the inte

13、rnational telephone service. Note - Refer also to the draft Recornmendation being studied under Question 20DI.
