SCOPE The material defined by this specification is a polytetrafluoroethylene pigmented lubricant with a heat curable phenolic resin binder. 2. APPLICATION This specification was releas
3、ed originally for a lubricant used to reduce friction in automotive front suspension bushings. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.1.1
4、Initial Qualifications The supplier must furnish to the affected Materials Engineering activity a completed and certified copy of the attached Supplement A and test reports demonstrating the capability of the process for the listed critical properties. 3.1.2 Ongoing Verification Plan In addition to
5、the control plan, the supplier and affected Materials Engineering activity shall establish a mutually agreed upon ongoing product verification plan which will be listed on Supplement B. 3.4 CONSISTENCY Material shall be a smooth homogenous product free from abrasive particles, it shall be consistent
6、 in color and texture, and free from objectionable odors during normal storage. It shall be suitable for the intended application. 3.5 FUNCTIONAL APPROVAL Materials being evaluated for initial approval may be subjected to a functional trial. Functional trial results shall be evaluated by the respons
7、ible Systems Engineering and Materials Engineering activities prior to material approval and release. 12、0 hrsphosphated 5.2 APPLICATION METHOD This material can be applied by the use of an atomizing spray gun with a 0.8 mm diameter nozzle and a 2 bar air pressure supply. The spray gun nozzle shall be a distance of 20 cm from the part to be coated and adjusted to give a well atomized spray. When proper
