SCOPE The material defined by this specification is a silicone rubber suitable for high temperature service conditions, possessing increased tear strength and im
3、proved reversion resistance. 2. APPLICATION This specification was released originally for material used as a rotating shaft oil seal in automotive automatic transmissions. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Co
4、mpanys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.1 SLAB STOCK PROPERTIES (ASTM D 3182) All seals and test samples, except slabs for tear resistance, shall be prelubed as follows: Material shall be immersed in ASTM No. 3 oil with no more than 2% rust inhibitor to be added. Th
