7、 ESB-M9P1-A (FLTM BP 101-01) 3.5 FINISHED RESISTOR ASSEMBLY 3.5.1 Length The finished assembly shall be approximately 76.0 in (1.93 mm), but will vary according to the specific resistance of the unit, which must be maintained as specified in para 3.5.3. 3.5.2 Termination Shall be as specified on eng

8、ineering drawing of affected assembly. They will be crimped to the conductor and shall not pull off when subjected to 16 lb (71 N) pull test. This requirement shall not apply where terminal performance is otherwise specified in engineering specification COAF-14A121-A. 3.5.3 Resistance A specific res

9、istance of 13.00 to 17.00 at 22 +/- 3 C measured terminal to terminal is required for each finished resistor assembly. The resistance of the finished resistor assembly when measured through the range of - 40 C to 93 C shall not vary more than +/- 1.0 % from its original value measured at 22 +/- 3 C.

10、 3.5.4 Performance Test A resistor assembly must be capable of carrying 1 ampere d-c, for 1000 h at 66 +/- 1 C without any evidence of deterioration. After the specimen is cooled to 22 +/- 3 C, it is wrapped around a 3 in (76 mm) mandrel at the rate not to exceed one complete turn/min and then subjected to the dielectric test in para 3.4.2. At the conclusion of the performance test, the measured resistance of the specimen at 22 +/- 3 C shall not vary more than +/- 1.0 % from its original value.
