18、ned in IEC 60050 (191) does not restrict operational requirments of the 4 Brief overall project description 4.1 Role and organization of purchaser The enquiry should - geologicai, e.g. seismic conditions and chmteristics of subsoil (e.g. caverns, gliding stmtgications, load bearing capability of sub

19、soils); - geographic, e.g. elevatwn, influence of local - hydrological, e.g. noding and tides. 4.3 Equipment task The specification should describe in general temns the function, task or role of the equipment to be purchased, e.g. whether it is part of a new power generating plant, a modificatwn to

20、an existing pou?er genemting phnt, or replacernent equipment. The specification should stak the type of furnace from which the ash is being - the type of ash extraction device (either submerged scraper conveyor, ram-type slag extractor, water-filled ash hopper or dry ash hopper); - a double arrangem

21、ent of submerged scraper conveyor or any other conveying device for standby purposes; - the type, capacity and necessary ancillasy equipment of intermediate storage facilities; - the method of long distance transport of the ash (e.g. rail, road, ship, barge, conveyor belt); - the type of loading equ

22、ipment for long distance transport; - an intermittent removal of coal mili rejects, for example pyrites, by means of hydraulic conveyor into the submerged scraper conveyor or the water-filled ash hopper. The specification may adso define prefes for equipment types (or give information) regarding com

23、patibility with misting equipment, if required. The specification may define any preferences with regad to the grouping of systems, for example with a hydraulic system the equipment may include a recycling system for the conveying water. The specification should define the intended methods or local

24、practice for maintenance, inspection and operation. The specification should define requirements with regard to the general appearance of th? equipment (e.0. dimmsions, shape or colour) to meet local planning requirements or specific criteria, where such requirements exist. NOTE Attention is drawn t

25、o European, national a.dw local legislation which may place restrictions in this area. 4.6 Control and instrumentation The specification should tbe should be to a recognized Europea?n or inlemational standard. The specification should define the type and capacity of other services for the operation

26、of the equipment, such as compressed air, process water etc. 4.7 Other interfaces Th,e specification should define the inwaces with existing a,miUury or new ancillary equipment to be supp1.ied under separate contracts which interact directly with the equipment, for example civil works, manage or tem

27、porary systems. 4.8 Project programme The specification should desm:be the overa programme a,nd timescale in which - auxiliary equipment such as controls, power supplies, cooling and cleaning systems, water recycling system; - accessories for handling and maintenance systems; - spare parts such as c

28、omponents subject to wear or replacement unis; - site activities such as storage, transport and instailation; - commissioning and performance tests; - documentation of equipment or system details, operation and maintenance manuals. The containment area (lagoon) for dumping the ash is generally exclu

29、ded from the extent of supply of a hydraulic conveying system. Other major structural items such as bridges etc. may also be excluded from the extent of supply. O BSI 09-1999 If the purchaser wishes to hue a contract for control and instrumentation separate frmn the equipment supply conmt, the speci

30、fication may require the supplier to provide information on ai the necessary inwaces (e.g. ail instrumentiation tapping points and instruments, including their signai outputs, etc., provided within the extent of supply). In aition puision may need to be made in the contract to ensure the avaubity of

31、 infmtion necessary to auoW a satisfactory control systmn to be obtained. For example, this my include a requirement for coopemtion between the purchaser and supplier. Alternatively, the specification may define the technical information on equipment chamctemstics to be pwided by the supplier and th

33、so state the policy in the fohwing operatwnai areas: - risks, e.g. loss of electrical supplies, loss of water supplies or cooling systems; - obligations, e.g. operational stag shift patterns; - restmktions, e.g. process waste disposal. 7.2 Manning levels The specification should define the power sta

34、tion manning leuek where they may influence the equipment supply. 7.3 Normal operation The specification should define in had terms the expected mTIILcc1 opemtwn of the power station and of the equipment. This may be a period of continuous full load operation between planned shutdowns of its associa

35、ted boileriturbine unit, followed by a period at full or part load for a reduced number of hours between planned shutdowns and then a period of intermittent operation with frequent short shut-downs. The specification should define the continuous maximum operating condition and continuous minimum ope

37、. 7.4 Operating hours The specscation should define the total life time required of the power station and thR equipment (e.g. hours) and the required operating period of the equipment. 7.6 Start-up and shut-down The specification should define the number and type of planned start-up and shutdown cyc

38、les in the lifetime of the associated boiler). The specification should define Uze expected changeover stmtegy where stundby equipment or bypasses are prowided. 7.6 Abnormal conditions The specification should provide information on th.e known abnormal conditions to which the equipment might be subj

39、ected. Tke supplier should ta - high carbon content in the ash due to combustion disturbances; - failure of power supplies or loss of process water supplies; - large pressure changes induced by other equipment; - blockage of transport devices or surge hoppers. The Specification should interpret thes

40、e incidents in terms of variations of the physical parameters at the terminal points. In some cases these abnormal conditions may be avoided by modifications outside the suppliers equipment; this may be covered by an alternative offer by the supplier. 7.7 Further operational requirements The specifi

41、cation should provide information on the required flexibility and controllability of the equipment during transient operation. For flexibility this may comprise time related dations of load or ash flow and specific control criteria such as controlled start-up and shutdown of long hydraulic conveying

42、 system to avoid water hammer. The specification should - ash analysis, associated with the specified range of fuel; - unbunit carbon; - physical state (e.g. molten, sintered lumps, size distribution); - effects of fuel additives such as lime, limestone etc. The specification may define performance

43、requirements for individual components within the system supplied 9.2 Performance The specifecation may define the opemting points and ouler defined conditions at which the equipment pei$ormance requirements are to be honstrated immediately ar commissioning ador at other points in the Ive of the equ

44、ipment. In addition to capacity and absorbed power performance tests, further test items may be consumption of compressed air and process water, waste water quaiity etc. NOTE Performance tests are sometimes conducted off site and may be carried out at conditions diflerent from the operating point. 45、he results may require scalzng according to agreed rules 9.3 Equipment margins The speciffcation should identify required equipment 9.4 Availability The specification may specify availabilitg requiremats. 48、chnical criteria The enquiry should - detailed plans.for tests of integration of equipment; - components and systems which have to be opembie .for commissioning of other plant; - definition of the commisshing prvcess and the necessa.y documentation required. 17 Verification of specified performance

49、17.1 General Test will, in general, be required on the equipment at various stages of the contract to &fy its performance. The specification should define Uze tests required and their conditions and organization. This mazy include definition of the provision of site seruices, personnel, etc. 17.2 Works tests Tests during munufacture may include type tests, speciaL tests a:& routine tests. Test requirements are .identtfi,ed in the refmeme standards, where these &t, with special tests beng carried out only when required by the specification. The specification should define
