This commercial item description covers a sulfanilic acid solution for cond

2、ucting a biochemical test for Enterobacteriaceae determinations. Salient characteristics: Shall be an 0.8% solution of sulfanilic acid for use in conducting Nitrate reduction (NIT) biochemical tests for Enterobacteriaceae determinations. Shall be suitable for use with the Analytab Products API 20E i

3、dentification system, Shall have a formulation of 8 grams of sulfanilic acid in 1000 milliliters (ml) of 5N acetic acid. Shall have 30 ml of the reagent supplied in a suitable dispensing bottle. Workmanship. defects which detract from its appearance or impair its serviceability. The sulfanilic acid

4、reagent shall be free from Unit. Bottle (BT),One bottle containing 30 rnl of sulfanilic acid reagent, as specified, constitutes one unit. Quality Assurance Provisions. Responsibility for inspection. Unless otherwise specified in the contract or purchase order, the contractor is responsible for the p

5、erformance of all inspection requirements as specified herein. Except as otherwise specified in the contract or purchase order, the contractor may use his own or any facilities suitable for the performance of the inspection requirements specified herein, unless disapproved by the Government. The Gov

6、ernment reserves the right to perform any of the inspections set forth in the specification where such inspections are deemed necessary to assure supplies and services conform to prescribed requirements.
