The responsible German body involved in its preparation was the

Following a proposal of the German Working Committee, ISO 702-1 has been editorially harmonized with ISO 702-2, ISO 702-3 and ISO 702-4. Al

7、l four ISO Standards have been adopted as DIN ISO Standards and published as a series. This third edition cancels and replaces the second edition (ISO 702-1:2001), Tables 1 and 2 and Figures 1 and 2 of which have been technically revised. DIN ISO 702 consists of the following parts, under the genera

8、l title Machine tools Connecting dimensions of spindle noses and work holding chucks: Part 1: Conical connection Part 2: Camlock type Part 3: Bayonet type Part 4: Cylindrical connection DIN ISO 702-1 supersedes DIN 55026 and, together with DIN ISO 702-3, supersedes DIN 55028. Spindle nose types A, B

9、 and C previously specified in DIN 55028 have been replaced and are now dealt with in DIN ISO 702-1 (types A and B) and DIN ISO 702-3 (type C). With the publication of the DIN ISO 702 series of standards, DIN 55026 and DIN 55028 have been withdrawn. Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of

10、 the elements of this document may be the subject of patent rights. DIN shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent rights. Amendments This standard differs from DIN 55026:1980-03 and DIN 55028:1980-03 as follows: a) The standard has been completely revised and brought into

12、O 702 specifies the sizes for interchangeability of conical spindle noses and corresponding connecting faces of face plates or work holding chucks. NOTE The “camlock type”, “bayonet type” and “cylindrical connection” are specified in ISO 702-2, ISO 702-3 and ISO 702-4, respectively. 2 Interchangeabi

13、lity In this part of ISO 702, all dimensions and tolerances are expressed in millimetres. Although there are differences in the values of dimensions and assembly screws in metric and inch series, the connecting dimensions in Tables 1 and 2 allow for interchangeability between metric- and inch-based

14、chucks (see also footnote “a” in Table 2). 3 Sizes for interchangeability 3.1 Spindle noses See Figure 1 and Table 1.
