8、ttee ISO/TC 10 “Technical product documentation”, Subcommittee SC 6 “Mechanical engineering documentation” (Secretariat: SAC, China). The responsible German body involved in its preparation was the DIN-Normenausschuss Technische Grundlagen (DIN Standards Committee Technical Fundamentals), Working Co
9、mmittee NA 152-06-05 AA Technisches Zeichnen. Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of patent rights. DIN shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent rights. This standard has been drawn up in order to provide a b
10、etter overview of technical drawing techniques and to allow the automatic data transfer of two-dimensional CAD drawings. To this end all data that is necessary to produce holes needs to be represented and dimensioned in a comprehensive manner. This means that the cuts and details that were previousl
11、y necessary can now be dispensed with, which contributes to the legibility of the drawing. The hole coordinates (X and Y), starting plan, and hole data such as diameter, depth (Z), etc. are needed in order to set up a working plan on the basis of a drawing. Text has not been given in the figures so
12、that they are language-neutral and can be understood worldwide. The rules established by this International Standard determine, unambiguously, methods for the representation both complete and simplified and the dimensioni
21、ng of holes, as well as the structure and sequence of the descriptive elements for the simplified representation of holes. Technical drawings Simplified representation and dimensioning of holes DIN ISO 15786:2014-12 6 1 Scope This International Standard specifies rules for the simplified representat
22、ion, dimensioning and tolerancing of holes, counterbores, internal threads and chamfers on drawings. Where there could be misinterpretation using simplified representation, the complete representation and dimensioning by cuts, sections or elements on a larger scale apply, according to ISO 128-30, IS
23、O 128-34, ISO 128-40, ISO 128-44, ISO 128-50, ISO 129-1 and ISO 406. 2 Normative references The following referenced documents are indispensable for the application of this document.
