National foreword This standard includes safety requirements. This document (EN 13871:2014) has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/
5、TC 153 “Machinery intended for use with foodstuffs and feed” (Secretariat: DIN, Germany). The responsible German body involved in its preparation was the DIN-Normenausschuss Maschinenbau (DIN Standards Committee Mechanical Engineering), Working Committee NA 060-18-02 AA Fleischverarbeitungs-maschine
6、n of Section Nahrungsmittel- und Verpackungsmaschinen. Representatives of manufacturers and users of food processing machinery, and of the employers liability insurance associations contributed to this standard. This standard contains specifications meeting the essential requirements set out in Anne
7、x I of the “Machinery Directive”, Directive 2006/42/EC, and which apply to machines that are either first placed on the market or commissioned within the EEA. This standard serves to facilitate proof of compliance with the essential requirements of that directive. Once this standard is cited in the
8、Official Journal of the European Union, it is deemed a “harmonized” standard and thus, a manufacturer applying this standard may assume compliance with the requirements of the Machinery Directive (“presumption of conformity”). The European Standards referred to in Clause 2 and in the Bibliography of
9、 the EN have been published as the corresponding DIN EN or DIN EN ISO Standards with the same number. Where the International Standards referred to are not also DIN ISO Standards with the same number, there are no national standards available. Amendments This standard differs from DIN EN 13871:2011-
10、02 as follows: a) Clause 1: the scope has been updated; b) Clause 2: normative references have been updated; c) Clause 3: terms and definitions have been partly revised and are consistently used throughout the standard; d) Clause 4: new presentation in a table; e) Subclause 5.2.1: requirements for i
11、nterlocking devices, stopping time; product pusher, protective rail and blade guide have been revised; f) Subclause 5.2.2.2: requirements for blade housing and blade guard have been revised; g) Clause 6: the verification list has been updated; h) Clause 7: completion of Subclause 7.2 with all inform
12、ation referred to in Clause 5, now including the operator training; Subclause 7.3 now contains the marking; i) annexes: the former Annex C “Common hazard” has been deleted and the text has been transferred to the appropriate clauses; j) figures have been partly revised; k) Annex ZA (informative) “Re
