This standard does not apply to extruded p

13、ent tolerance classes and divided into groups A and B. Group A applies to profiles which exhibit adequate stiffness and strength. Group B applies in cases where the inherent lack of stiffness of the extruded profile (e.g. in the case of soft thermoplastics) means that no permanent form deviation of

14、the cross section, of individual cross-sectional areas, or over the length of the profile occurs. Hence, for group B, no angular or geometrical tolerances have been specified. The distinction thus drawn takes account of the main factors which influence the deviations of size and form of profiles. Pa

15、rticular instances of such influences are the different properties and extrusion behaviour of thermoplastics, the various forming methods and extrusion processes, and the geometry of the profile cross sections. DIN 16941:2012-11 5 4 General tolerances 4.1 General The principles of tolerancing set ou

16、t in DIN EN ISO 8015 apply. If smaller tolerances are necessary or larger tolerances permitted and these are more economic, these shall be stated separately. Where these are tolerances of form and position (geometrical tolerances), the terms, definitions, symbols and indications according to DIN EN

17、ISO 1101 apply. Tolerances in accordance with the standard apply, for example, for drawings if reference is made to this standard as described in Clause 4. Only tolerances related to production are dealt with in this standard. The series of tolerances to be used shall be agreed between the parties i

18、nvolved (e.g. between the client and the firm accepting the order). It is recommended that tolerance series 3 be used for profiles that are of normal commercial quality but are not multi-walled and do not also comprise a second material. 4.2 Cross section of profile 4.2.1 General The limit deviation

19、s for linear dimensions and the geometrical tolerances apply to all cross-sectional planes of the profile at any point at right angles to the direction of extrusion. For profiles which also contain other materials, the general tolerances specified shall only apply to the thermoplastics content. 4.2.

20、2 Tolerances of size 4.2.2.1 General The general tolerances given in this standard shall apply for linear dimensions (e.g. external dimensions, internal dimensions, step dimensions, diameters, etc.), as specified in Table 1; wall thicknesses, as specified in Table 2; radii of curvature and chamfer h

21、eights (bevels), as specified in Table 3; angular dimensions (both those indicated and those not usually indicated, e.g. right angles (90), or angles of uniform polygons), as specified in Table 4. The general tolerances given in this standard do not apply for linear dimensions, wall thicknesses, and

22、 angular dimensions which are individually toleranced; auxiliary dimensions indicated in brackets (see DIN 406-10/-11); theoretically exact dimensions indicated in rectangular frames (datums) as in DIN EN ISO 1101; angular dimensions of circular graduations; 90 angles, not separately indicated, betw

23、een lines forming a system of coordinates. 27、hall apply irrespective of the actual local sizes of the lengths, i.e. the angular deviations may occur both at the maximum and the minimum limit of size of the linear dimensions. 30、lerances of form and position apply irrespective of the actual sizes of the workpiece features. Each individual tolerance requirement is to be met. The tolerances of form and position may thus also be applied in full in connection with features that make full use of their upper tolerance limits in e

Thus, between these straight lines, geometrical deviations may occur in any form (e.g. waviness). This

33、 may be undesirable for functional reasons (e.g. in the case of the visible surfaces of profiles). In such cases, the surfaces shall be identified as such and the accuracy required shall be indicated as appropriate (assessment). As a means of checking consistency between different deliveries, sample

34、s exhibiting limit values may, by agreement, be taken as the basis of assessment. DIN EN ISO 1101 also states that the deviations from straightness may occur without restriction on either side of a toleranced line. If in certain cases the deviation is to be restricted to only one side (direction), t

35、hen this shall be specifically indicated in drawings. DIN 16941:2012-11 8 4.2.3.3 Parallelism Parallelism tolerances are given in Table 6. 37、les independently of the deviations of their cross section. Such deviations relate to the length of the profile, and to the position of its cross-sectional axis with regard to its ideal axis in the longitudinal direction (direction of extrusion). 4.3.2 Tolerances of size 4.3.2.1 Linear dimensions Fo

38、r standard manufacturing lengths, the limit deviations given in Table 7 shall apply. Limit deviations for specified lengths shall be agreed upon. 40、 soft thermoplastics preclude a specification of limit values which can have general validity. Where such values are required, they shall be specified by agreement. DIN 16941:2012-11 9 4.3.3 Tolerances of form and position 4.3.3.1 General Tolerances of form and position take account of the deviation

41、 of the profile from a straight line and the change in the position of the cross section in relation to the original cross section of the profile (torsion). If tolerances of form and position other than those in this standard are necessary to enable the profile to fulfil a particular function, these

42、 shall be agreed, as specified in DIN EN ISO 1101. 4.3.3.2 Straightness Extruded profiles cannot be manufactured entirely without deviation from straightness (in the longitudinal direction of the profile). The main factors responsible for this are the specific cooling behaviour of different thermopl

43、astics, the cross-sectional form of the profile, and the relationship between the separate wall thicknesses of a profile. The influence of these variables makes it impossible to specify straightness tolerances. If required, straightness tolerances tgshall be agreed by the parties concerned, e.g. by

44、the client and the firm accepting the order. The straightness tolerance tgshall be indicated in mm per 1 000 mm of profile length, together with the direction in relation to the cross section of the profile (see Figure 1). To determine the deviation from straightness, fg, the profile shall be placed

45、 on a workbench in order to be measured. Any external forces which might influence the actual deviation from the straight line shall be avoided. DIN 16941:2012-11 10 4.3.3.3 Torsion The torsion of a profile is determined by establishing the positional devia

47、tion of the original cross section of the profile when projected into the plane of test. The torsion tolerance, tv, is the permissible angular deviation of a straight line or form line (feature) of the test cross section of a profile in relation to the original cross section (see Figure 2). The tors

48、ion fvshall be indicated in degrees for a profile length of 1 000 mm.
