10、rrectly mixed assuming reasonably short production times, whereas quick-setting cement (SE type) is intended for use only in cases where admixtures are used or special methods of application (e.g. dry spraying technique) employed.References to DIN EN 197-1 are to the February 2001 edition and those

24、aste is being prepared.4.3 Quick-setting cementCement designated as quick-setting cement (SE type cement) shall have setting characteristics as specied in table 1.See Annex A for methods of testing strength and soundness and for determining the setting time.5 ConstituentsThe constituents of cement c

25、onforming to this standard shall be as specied in subclauses 5.1 to 5.4 of DIN EN 197-1.The content of additives shall not exceed 1 % (m/m). Where the content of organic modiers in the dry cement exceeds 0,5 %, this is to be indicated on the bag or in the delivery note. Additives shall not have any

26、corrosive effect on reinforcement.Only modiers listed in Annex A of DIN V 18998 shall normally be used. Otherwise proof of suitability of the modiers shall be provided.NOTE: This proof may take the form of a specic or general agrment.Where additives (except those used to control the setting behaviou

27、r of SE type cement) contain modiers that are also used in mixing mortar, concrete or grout as in the DIN EN 934 series and that tend to modify the cement properties, their type as in DIN V 18998 shall be indicated on the bag or delivery note.6 CompositionThe composition of cement with a shortened s

28、etting time shall be as specied in table 1 of DIN EN 197-1.7 Mechanical, physical, chemical and durability requirementsCement with a shortened setting time shall meet the mechanical, physical, chemical and durability require-ments specied in clause 7 of DIN EN 197-1 and those specied in tables 1 to

33、d.8 Standard designationCement with a shortened setting time shall be designated at least by the symbol denoting the cement type (cf. table 1 of DIN EN 197-1), the gure indicating the strength class and the code letter denoting the early strength class of the cement, N or R (cf. subclause 7.1 of DIN

34、 EN 197-1). Any special property as specied in DIN 1164-10 shall be indicated by the appropriate code letter as shall be the type of cement as in the present standard (FE or SE).Any deviations in chloride content (see table 3 of DIN EN 197-1) and loss on ignition of y ash (see sub-clause 5.2.4.1 of

37、he setting behaviour) shall be regularly checked on the basis of the results obtained from testing spot samples in accordance with clause 9 of DIN EN 197-1, except for the determination of the setting time and soundness and sampling for strength testing, which are to be carried out as specied in Ann

38、ex A.9.2 Conformity criteria for setting timeConformity of cement with the additional requirements specied in this standard shall be veried in accord-ance with tables 2 and 3.10 Delivery documentsBags or delivery notes shall bear the following information:a) mark of conformity;b) mass, i.e. gross we

39、ight of bag (25 kg) or net weight of bulk cement.In addition, the delivery notes for bulk cement shall include the following details:a) date and time of delivery;b) registration number of delivery vehicle;c) customer, order number and consignee.Bags for special cement shall be colour coded in accord

41、 in this standard shall be checked in accordance with DIN EN 197-2 (excluding clause 8) and certied as specied in subclauses 11.2 and 11.3.11.2 Granting and withdrawal of certicate of conformity11.2.1 The inspection body shall provide the certication body with the following documentation:a) a report

42、 on initial inspection (if any; cf. subclause 5.5.5 of DIN EN 197-2);b) a report giving at least the results of the third party inspection tests carried out on the rst sample taken for initial testing (cf. subclause 5.6.3 of DIN EN 197-2).11.2.2 If the inspection report indicates that the requiremen

43、ts specied in subclause 5.5 of DIN EN 197-2 are met, and if the results mentioned in subclause 11.2.1, item b), full the requirements specied in clauses 4 to 7 and the conformity criteria specied in clause 9, the certication body will issue a certicate of conformity.Page 6DIN 1164-11 : 2003-1111.2.3

44、 Throughout the rest of the initial period, the results of third party inspection testing and of factory production control (including in-process testing) shall be evaluated and reported to the certication body (cf. subclause 5.6.3 of DIN EN 197-2).11.2.4 If the evaluation referred to in subclause 1

45、1.2.3 is satisfactory, the certicate of conformity remains valid as long as the specications of DIN EN 197-2 or the production conditions are not changed (unless it is to be withdrawn for the reasons listed in clause 6 of DIN EN 197-2).11.2.5 When production of a particular cement type is discontinu

46、ed, the manufacturer shall notify the inspec-tion and certication bodies as soon as the stock of cement is depleted. The relevant certicate of conformity shall then be withdrawn without delay.The certicate of conformity is also to be withdrawn if third party inspection can no longer be carried out.1

47、1.2.6 Cement which is similar to a certied cement produced at the same factory, but which has a signi-cantly different composition or properties within the specied limits, may be identied and treated as a differ-ent type of cement.11.3 Marking11.3.1 Conformity of a special cement with this standard

48、shall be declared in a certicate of conformity issued by the certication body and indicated by an inspection mark applied to the product by the manufacturer.11.3.2 The certicate of conformity shall include the information given in the Muster fr bereinstimmungs-zertikate nach 24 b MBO (Specimen form

49、for certicate of conformity under article 24 b of the German Model Building Code) 1).11.3.3 As proof of conformity of a cement, bags or delivery notes shall bear the inspection mark 2) in addition to the information specied in clause 10. This mark shall include the following details:a) name of manufacturer;b) number of DIN Standard (DIN 1164) forming the basis of the assessment of conformity, and standard designation;c) logo or identication of certication body.12 Requirements fo
