19、object This part of IEC 60512 defines a standard test method, Test 11g, to assess the effects of a controlled atmosphere polluted by gases at very low concentration on electrical contacts or connections. 2 Normative references The following referenced documents are indispensable for the application

23、d measuring methods Part 13: Mechanical operating tests Section 1: Test 13a: Engaging and separating forces 3 Preparation 3.1 Preparation of specimen The specimen, equipped with normal accessories, shall be mounted and wired in accordance with the detail specification. When required by the detail sp

24、ecification, the specimen shall be operated the number of times specified, prior to test. For each test carried out, the detail specification shall specify the condition of the component, for example, mated or unmated. 3.2 Conditioning Conditioning prior to the test shall be carried out in accordanc

25、e with the requirements of the detail specification. Page3 EN60512117:2003065-2111-7 I EC:2003 4 4 Method 4.1 Initial measurement When required by the detail specification, the specified initial measurements shall be made under standard atmospheric conditions, immediately after conditioning. 4.2 Pro

26、cedure The Test 11g method and duration shall be specified in the detail specification. The test severity is defined by the test method, chosen from Table 1, this table is in accordance with Test Ke of IEC 60068-2-60; the test duration, preferred values are 4, 7, 10, 14 and 21 days. Guides for the s

27、election of test methods and test duration, and descriptions of test apparatus are given in IEC 60068-2-60. During the test, specimens are not electrically loaded. 30、ical operating tests according to IEC 60512-13-1 as applicable; c) visual examination according to IEC 60512-1-1. 31、ounting and wiring of the specimen; b) mated or unmated condition; c) conditioning time and number of operations prior to the commencement of the test; d) method to be used; e) duration of test; f) initial measurements; g) contact resistance test to be used; h) mechanical operating test to be used;
