TheapplicabilityofthisEuropeanStandardisdescribedintheproductstandardsforbituminousmixtures. Thetestisapplicabletolaboratorymadespecimens,tri

33、mmedbysawing,orspecimensfromcorescutfromthe road,trimmedbysawing. 2Apparatus 2.1 Callipergauge. 2.2 Approvedjigorotherdevice. 3Procedure NOTE Themeasurementsshouldpreferablybemadewiththespecimenstandingfirmlyonitsupperfaceinavertical position.Alternativelythespecimencanbelaidonalevelsurfaceinahorizo

34、ntalpositionandrolledasnecessarytopermit the takingofallmeasurements. 3.1 Measurementofheight 3.1.1 Takefourmeasurementsevenlyspacedaroundtheperimeterofeachspecimen.Thepositionofthese measurementsshallbeclearlymarkedalongeachspecimen.Allmeasurementsshallhavealimitdeviationof 0,1mm. 3.1.2 Eachmeasure

35、mentshallbemadeapproximately10mminfromtheedgeofthespecimen. 3.1.3 Definetheaverageofthefourmeasurementsastheheightofthespecimenandexpressittothenearest 0,1mm. 3.2 Measurementofdiameter 3.2.1 Taketwomeasurementsperpendiculartoeachotheratthetop,themiddleandthebottomofthe specimen.Allmeasurementsshallh

36、avealimitdeviationof0,1mm. 3.2.2 Definetheaverageofthesixmeasurementsasthediameterofthespecimenandexpressittothenearest 0,1mm. 3.3 Measurementof(non)rectangularspecimens 3.3.1 Takefourmeasurementsevenlyspacedaroundtheperimeterofeachspecimenineachdirection(height, widthanddepth).Ifthedimensionsinoneo

37、rmoredirectionschangesubstantially(e.g.atwopointbendingtest specimen)thenumberofmeasurementsinthatdirectionshallbeextendedinsuchawaythatthevolumeofthe specimencanalwaysbecalculated. Thepositionofthemeasurementsshallbeclearlymarkedalongeachspecimen.Allmeasurementsshallhavea limitdeviationof0,1mm. 3.3
