2、 Standard 2A.105 : 1956 has been prepared to relate the standard to the relevant requirements of British Standard A.100. Reference is made in the standard to the following British Standards: A.100 S.80 Bolts and nuts for aircraft (general clauses) 55 ton high chromium-nickel steel (corrosion-resisti

3、ng). NOTE The values in British units are to be regarded as the stzndard. A table is given in the appendix to provide a ready means of c3IcuIatiug the approximate millimetre equivalents of the inch dimensions. More accurate conversions should be based on the tcblas in B.S. 350. SPECIFICATION b. The

4、nuts shall be hexagonal and chmifered on i;:h SCOPE 1. This British Standard specifies the materials, dirnen- sions and inspection procedure for corrosion-resisting steel craft use. It makes provision for ranges of ordinary, thin, slotted and castle nuts. as shown in 27 3 and 4- nuts with Unied hexa

5、gons and Unified threads for air- DIiMENSIONS 4. All finished nuts shall conform io the dimensions and tolerances given in Tables I, 2, 3 or 4. GEiNERAL KEQLTREhfENTS SCREW THREADS 2. The nuts shall comply with the relevant requirements of Fart 1 of British Standard A.IC0 in respect of manufx- ture,
