Following the publication of BSEN60081, BSEN60901, BSEN61195 and BSEN61199, this new edition of BS1853-2 has been published to take into account the lamps, included in the previous edition, which are not covered by those European standards. It supersedes BS1853-2:1979 which is wi

10、thdrawn. BS1853-1:1990 has been superseded by BSEN60081:1994. A British Standard does not purport to include all the necessary provisions of a contract. General 1.1 Scope This British Standard is applicable to those fluorescent lamps which are used in the United Kingdom and which are not specified in BS EN60081:1994, BS EN60901:1994, BS EN61195:1994 or BSEN61199:1994. It specifie

13、s the characteristics of fluorescent lamps for general lighting service, which have pre-heated cathodes and which operate from50 Hz a.c. mains with or without the aid of a starter and in association with ballasts conforming to BS EN60920:1991 and BSEN60921:1991. 1.2 References 1.2.1 Normative refere

The lamp dimensions to be controlled shall be
