1、Designation: F 2220 02An American National StandardStandard Specification forHeadforms1This standard is issued under the fixed designation F 2220; the number immediately following the designation indicates the year oforiginal adoption or, in the case of revision, the year of last revision. A number
2、in parentheses indicates the year of last reapproval. Asuperscript epsilon (e) indicates an editorial change since the last revision or reapproval.INTRODUCTIONThis specification identifies the headforms used for testing protective headgear in individual ASTMInternational test methods and performance
3、 standards (standard specifications). This specification wasclosely based on the ISO DIS 6220 that is no longer available (having been replaced by EN 960). Itis not possible forASTM International protective headgear standards to reference EN 960 because thisstandard makes no provisions for ASTM Inte

14、assification4.1 This specification identifies the requirements for fivetest headform sizes: A, E, J, M, and O. The size codes used forheadforms relate to the nominal inside circumference ofhelmets (see Table 1). The nominal inside circumferencevalues refer to the internal circumference of the helmet
