Scope1.1 To describe the requirements for packaged, thin filmmedical protective gloves with radiation attenuating propertiesintended to protect the oper
3、ator or other persons from unnec-essary exposure to radiation during radiological procedures byproviding an attenuating barrier to radiation. Minimum attenu-ation values and physical property requirements will be de-fined.1.2 This standard does not purport to address all of thesafety concerns, if an

Attenuation Requirements5.1 The radiation attenuation of the glove shall be deter-mined by using Test Method F2547.5.1.1 Sample size shall be 13 gloves.5.1.2 A 5 by 5 cm squa
7、re sample shall be taken from thethinnest portion of the glove (either the palm, cuff, or finger).5.2 A radiation attenuation glove must attenuate per theminimum values shown in the following table at each kVplevel:60 kVp 80 kVp 100 kVp 120 kVp29 % 22 % 18 % 15 %6.
