Physical Properties5.1 Backing:5.1.1 Factory attached backing shall provide a one meshwire to wire lap joint at one end and one edge of each flat sheetor roll. Attachment of the backing shall allow lapping ofwire-to-

7、wire and backing-to-backing of one mesh at ends andedges and shall permit full embedment in not less than14 in.(6.4 mm) of plaster of not less than one half the total length andwidth of the wire.5.1.2 Backing shall have a minimum tensile breakingstrength (dry) of 20 lbf/in. (3.5 kN/m) width, as test

8、ed inaccordance with Federal Specification UU-P-31 B,Method 171.6. Dimensions, Weight, and Permissible Variations6.1 Openings:6.1.1 Woven wire plaster base shall be fabricated to providethe size of openings in accordance withTable 1, except that anysingle opening shall be not more than 3.0 in.2(1935

9、.5 mm2).6.1.2 Wire diameter for opening size shall be in accordancewith Table 1.6.2 Diameter tolerance for galvanized wire shall be inaccordance with Specification A 641/A 641M.6.3 The wire shall be zinc-coated (galvanized) in accor-dance with Specification A 641/A 641M.6.4 Weight for woven wire pla

10、ster base shall be in accor-dance with Table 1.6.5 When included as part of the woven wire plaster base,factory fabricated stiffener wires shall have a diameter not lessthan that specified in Table 1 and shall be continuous, parallelto the long dimension of the plaster base, and shall occur at notmo

11、re than 6-in. (154.4-mm) intervals.6.6 Factory fabricated crimps for self-furring woven wireplaster base shall provide a nominal14-in. (6.4-mm) separationbetween the back plane of the plaster base and the surface ofsolid backing to permit embedment in both directions.1This specification is under the

16、less than36 in. (914 mm).6.8 Length of woven wire plaster base shall be in accor-dance with Table 2.7. Inspection7.1 Inspection of the material shall be agreed upon betweenthe purchaser and the producer or supplier as part of thepurchase agreement.8. Rejection and Rehearing8.1 Material that fails to

17、 conform to the requirements of thisspecification shall be reported to the producer or supplierpromptly and in writing. The notice of rejection shall contain astatement documenting how the product has failed to conformto the requirements of the specification.9. Certification9.1 When specified in the

18、 purchase order or contract, theproducer or supplier shall furnish a report certifying that at thetime of shipment, the materials were in compliance with therequirements of this specification.10. Packaging and Package Marking10.1 PackagingWoven wire plaster base shall be pack-aged in bundles, rolls

19、or pallets.10.2 MarkingWhen shipped for sale or resale, the nameof the producer or the supplier and the brand and description ofthe contents shall be legibly marked on each pallet, bundle orroll. The quantity for bundles shall be square yards and numberof sheet per bundle. The quantity for pallets,

20、bundles or rollsshall indicate the mesh-opening size and wire thickness.11.
