3、OMMERCIAL ITEM DESCRIPTION PUMP, BUCKET, LUBRICATION, HAND-OPERATED The General Services Administration has authorized the use of this Commercial Item Description (CID) as a replacement for MIL-P-13218 for all federal agencies. 1. SCOPE. This CID covers hand-operated portable bucket pumps furnished

4、with a cover and locking device which fits and dispenses grease or oil from bulk or a standard 35-pound bucket container. 2. CLASSIFICATION. The pumps shall be of the following types (see 7.3): Type I - Grease Type II - Oil 3. SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS. 3.1 Design and construction. 3.1.1 Type I. Type

5、I pumps shall be furnished with a hand-operated pressure pump, 10-foot length, heavy duty 3/8-inch internal diameter (ID) hose, follower plate, T-handle type nozzle and other required components. (Typical use: automotive, farm, construction type greases.) 3.1.2 Type II. Type II pumps shall be furnis

6、hed with a hand-operated pressure pump, 5-foot length, 1/2-inch ID hose, gooseneck type nozzle and other required components. (Typical use: SAE 75W, 80W-90, 140W gear lubricants, automatic transmission fluids and motor oils.) Provided by IHSNot for ResaleNo reproduction or networking permitted witho

The pumps shall meet the performance requirements of Table I while using the following lubricants: Type I - use lubricant conforming to MIL-PRF-10924 Type II - use grade SAE 75W or SAE 80W-90 gear lubricant conforming to SAE J2360 Table I. 9、imum of 50 strokes Minimum rate of discharge (at minus (-) 25 F) 4 oz. per minute with maximum of 50 strokes 1 lb. per minute with maximum of 50 strokes Minimum rate of discharge (at back pressure of 5000 pounds per square inch gauge (psig) at 70 F) 1 oz. in not more than 30 seconds with continuous

10、pumping No requirement Maximum static pressure developed by pressure pump (at all specified temperatures) 7000 psig 500 psig 3.3 Identification and marking. Each pump shall be marked for identification with the National Stock Number (see 7.3). 4. REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS 4.1 Recovered material. The o

11、fferor/contractor is encouraged to use recovered materials to the maximum extent practicable, in accordance with paragraph 23.403 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). 5. PRODUCT CONFORMANCE PROVISIONS 5.1 Responsibility for inspection. The contractor is responsible for the performance of all

12、 inspections (examinations and tests). 5.2 Contractor certification. The contractor shall certify and maintain substantiating evidence that the product offered meets the salient characteristics of this CID and that the product conforms to the producers own drawings, specifications, workmanship stand

13、ards, and quality assurance practices. The Government reserves the right to require proof of such conformance prio

14、r to the first delivery and thereafter as may be otherwise provided for under the provisions of the contract. 6. PACKAGING. Preservation, packaging, packing, labeling and marking for the desired level shall be as specified in the contract (see 7.3). 7. NOTES (This section contains information of a g
