It is the second edition of CAN/CSA-C22.2 No. 60335-2-40, and the second edition of UL 60335-2-40. This edition of CAN/CSA-C22.2 No. 60335-2-40 supersedes t

40、he previous edition published on November 30, 2012, and it also replaces CSA C22.2 No. 117-1970, Room Air Conditioners; CSA C22.2 No. 92-15, Dehumidiers; and CSA C22.2 No. 236-15, Heating and Cooling Equipment. This edition of UL 60335-2-40 supersedes the previous edition published on November 30, 2

41、012. The major differences between this edition and the previous edition include the following: a) The realignment of the second edition of CSA/UL 60335-2-40 with the current edition of IEC 60335-2-40, and the expanded scope to cover requirements for high voltage, 601 V to 15 000 V. b) The addition

42、of requirements for pressure vessels, dehumidiers, ammable refrigerants, transcritical CO 2 , contactor reliability, partial units, all-pole-disconnected electric heaters, nichrome wire, and polymeric materials.
