Application services deal with the

24、 transfer of information, with its associated syntax andsemantics. Data transfer services simply move octets between MAP functional entities via asignaling network.In terms of the Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) Reference Model, defined in the ITU X.200series of recommendations, Application Servi

25、ces encompass the Application, Presentation, Session,and Transport layers.
