17、 of potable water, wastewater, and reclaimed water. Sec. 1.2 Purpose The purpose of this standard is to provide purchasers, manufacturers, and suppliers with minimum requirements for sodium tripolyphosphate (mate- rial), including physical, chemical, sampling, packaging, shipping, and testing requir

18、ements. Sec. 1.3 Application This standard can be referenced in documents for purchasing and receiving sodium tripolyphosphate and can be used as a guide for testing the physical and chemical properties of sodium tripolyphosphate samples. The stipulations of this standard apply when this document ha

Day: A day is defined as a 24-hour period. 2. Manufacturer: The party that manufactures, fabricates, or produces materials or pr

22、oducts. 3. Potable water: Water that is safe and satisfactory for drinking and cooking. 4. Purchaser: The person, company, or organization that purchases any materials or work to be performed. 5. Reclaimed water: Wastewater that becomes suitable for beneficial use as a result of treatment. 6. Sodium

23、 tripolyphosphate: A crystalline solid that is a soluble sodium poly- phosphate containing Na 2 O and P 2 O 5in a molar ratio of approximately 1.67 Na 2 O to 1.0 P 2 O 5 . Its formula is Na 5 P 3 O 10 . 7. Supplier: The party that supplies material or services. A supplier may or may not be the manuf
