The drugs used to treat depression are of limited use in treating the repeating depressive episodes of bipolar i

Family therapy engages family members to help solve problems related to the illness, like failing to take medication properly, and to reduce the number of negative family interactions. Therapists at each of the 15 medical centers received brief trainin
