NOTE Theterm“batch“canbesubstitutedbytheterm“lot“ifdesired. ThispartofISO8007alsospecifiesthepreferredlocationsforta

14、mplingandacceptancetesting. 3Definitions ForthepurposesofthispartofISO8007,thedefinitionsgiveninISO3534(allparts)andISO5022apply. 4 Samplingplansforlargeconsignmentsorforbatches 4.1General Thesamplingplanmaybedefinedintermsofanacceptablequalitylevel(AQL).Itmaybeappliedwhentheparties concernedhaveagr

15、eedtodosoandhavetherefore,bycommonconsent,madeachoicebetweenthevarious optionsdescribedinthispartofISO8007.Thepartiesshallalsoagreeonthevariouspropertiestobemeasured (forexample,densityandelectricalresistivity)sothatthesamplingplanissuitableforitsultimatepurposeof providingrepresentativesamplesforsu

16、bsequenttesting.ISO80072:1999(E) ISO 2 ItisalsopossibletoapplytheproceduresgiveninthispartofISO8007whilemodifying,byprioragreement betweenthepartiesconcerned,therecommendedvaluesgiveninthesamplingplans(seeTables1,2,3and4). Theefficiencyofasamplingplandependssolelyonthenumberofsampledunits, n,whateve

17、rthesizeofthebatch, N,providedthat n/Nislessthan10%.Tables1,2,3and4shallbeusedtodetermine,onthebasisoftherequired efficiency,whatthesamplesize, n,shallbe. Ifexperienceshowsthatthequalityofthemanufacturersproductioncorrespondstotheagreements,itispossible, whenbatchesofthesamequalityarefrequentlysubje

18、ctedtoacceptanceprocedures,thataplanwithlower efficiencybechosen.Thiswouldimplytheuseofasmallersamplesize, n. Iflaterexperienceshowsthatthequalityofproductionfailstocorrespondtotheagreementswhenjudgedagainst presetcriteria,thenitisnecessarytoreturntotheoriginal,higherefficiency,samplingplan. Alterna

19、tively,asamplingplanmaybedefinedintermsofaveragetestvaluestogetherwithalimitationontherange oftestvaluesinsteadof,orinadditionto,acceptablequalitylevels(AQLs). Statisticalprocesscontrol(SPC)orstatisticalqualitycontrol(SQC)chartsarerecommendedtoolswhenoperating thesamplingplan. 4.2 Singleunitofproduc

20、t Thesingleunitofproductshallbeagreedbetweensellerandbuyer.Itmaybeasingleprebakedanodeoritmaybe 1tofanodes. 4.3 Drawingupasamplingplanbasedonacceptablequalitylevel(AQL) Beforethesamplingplancanbedrawnupfromthetables,itisnecessarytoagreeontheparametersgivenbelow: a) Theacceptablequalitylevel,i.e.thet

21、hepoorestqualitythatcanbeconsideredacceptableastheprocess average. b) Whethernormalortightenedinspectionistobeused.Thisisdecidedbystudyingthesamplingresultsforthe lastfewbatches.Therulesforswitchingfromonekindofinspectiontoanotheraregivenin4.5.2. c) Thebatchsize,whichmaybetheamountproducedinaproduct

33、3 Whentightenedinspectionisbeingused,normalinspectionshallbeinstitutediffiveconsecutivebatches havebeendeterminedtobeacceptableaccordingtothesamplingplan. 5 Takingtestsamplesfromindividualanodes 5.1Procedure Usingsuitablecoredrillingorsawingequipmentwithcuttingedgespreferablycoatedwithdiamondoranoth

34、er extremelyhardmaterial,taketestsamplesinaccordancewith5.2and5.3. 5.2 Dimensionsoftestsamples Choosethedimensionsofeachtestsampleaccordingtothetesttobecarriedout.RefertotheInternati onal Standardsrelatingtotheteststobecarriedouttoensurethatthesamplestakenfromtheanodeareofsuitable dimensions. NOTE I

35、ftherearenoinstructionsintherelevantInternationalStandards,thenthefollowingguidelinesshouldbefollowed: a) Samplesofcircularcrosssectionarepreferred.Asamplediameterof50mmisrecommended. b) Thesmallestdimensionofthesampleshouldbethreetimesthemaximumparticlesizeofthedryaggregate. c) Thelengthofthesample

36、shouldbeatleast1,5timesthediameterforsamplesofcircularcrosssectionand1,5timesthe diagonalifthesamplehasasquarecrosssection.
