Standard Specification ACI 303.1 is a Reference Stan-dard that the Architect/Engineer may cite in the ProjectSpecifications for project, together with supplementary re-quirements for the specific project.F3. Each techn
6、ical section of Standard SpecificationACI 303.1 is written in the three-part Section Format of theConstruction Specifications Institute, as adapted by ACI,modified to ACI requirements, and organized by types of ar-chitectural concrete. The language is generally imperativeand terse.F4. Checklists do
7、not form a part of Standard SpecificationACI 303.1. Checklists are to assist the Architect/Engineer inproperly choosing and specifying Project Specifications.PREFACE TO SPECIFICATION CHECKLISTP1. Standard Specification ACI 303.1 is intended to beused by reference or incorporation in its entirety in
8、theProject Specifications. Individual sections, articles, or para-graphs shall not be copied into the Project Specifications,since taking them out of context may change their meaning.SI equivalents are provided for information only and are notpart of this specification. P2. If sections or parts of S
9、tandard SpecificationACI 303.1 are edited into project specifications or any otherdocument, they shall not be referred to as ACI standards,since the Standard Specification has been altered.P3. Building codes set minimum requirements necessaryto protect the public. This Standard Specification may sti
10、pu-late requirements more restrictive than the minimum. Ad-justments to the needs of a particular project shall be madeby the Architect/Engineer by reviewing each of the items inthe Specification Checklist and then including the Architect/Engineers decision on each item as a mandatory require-ment i
