2、 components produced in accordance with the requirements of this subsection are given in the equipment specification or the purchase order technical documents, in compliance with the requirements of A 4200. For vessels, heat exchangers, piping and valve components, the applicable requirements of thi

3、s subsection are those given in chapters E 1000 to E 4000 inclusive. For pumps, the applicable requirements of this subsection are given in chapters E 1000 and E 5000. Additional requirements may be given in the equipment specification or in the technical documents of the pump purchase order. These

4、requirements may be based on the following chapters in particular: E 2000, E 3100 and E 4000. Whenever annex ZS is explicitly required by the contract, it supplements the requirements of this subsection whenever necessary. QUALITY ASSURANCE The requirements of chapter A 5000 apply to small component

5、s placed in RCC-M class 2 or 3 in compliance with A 4250. These components are often subcontracted by the Manufacturer upon receipt of a purchase order for the entire equipment from the Contractor. The Manufacturers attention is drawn to the fact that in this case he must specify to his subcontracto

6、r(s) the requirements with regard to Quality Assurance, adapted to the type of technical services performed, in compliance with A 5110. DOCUMENTS TO BE SUBMITTED BY THE COMPONENT SUPPLIER VESSELS, HEAT EXCHANGERS, PIPING, VALVES The component Supplier shall transmit at least the following documents

7、to the issuer of the purchase order: - general drawing of the component (isometric projections or equivalents for instrumentation piping) and the nomenclature for the basic parts giving the material selected, n 113-2007 E 1000 / 1 RCC-M - Edition 2007 Subsection E - the catalogue of welded joints (s

8、ee definition in annex H 1. 1120), - sizing report, - end-of-manufacturing certificate as defined in A 3804. E 1320 PUMPS The pumps covered by this subsection are commonly produced by the Manufacturers and therefore correspond to existing models which can, if necessary, be subject to minor adaptatio

9、n. These pumps can also be made of current manufacturing elements provided these elements were previously used to constitute pumps falling within the scope of validation for the pump to be established according to E 5300. The component Manufacturer shall transmit at least the following documents to

10、the issuer of the purchase order: - The pump reference file The pump reference file shall contain not only the equipment description and nomenclature but also the procurement, manufacture, control and test conditions for the component. Note: This file completely identifies the pump. It must therefor

11、e specify all the options retained and be precise and complete in order to avoid any ambiguity during pump acceptance. - The model validation file comprising the reference document for the model*, the test programme and the validation test report. Note: After agreement of the issuer of the purchase

12、order has been obtained, the model can be part of the order. - The component validation file (where applicable). This file comprises the same elements as the model validation file. - The sizing report, if specified in the purchase order. - The end-of-manufacturing certificate defined in A 3804, in p

13、articular certifying compliance with the reference document. * If the model is not identical to the pump ordered. E 1000 / 2 n 113-2007 RCC-M - Edition 2007 Subsection E E 2000 MATERIALS E 2100 APPLICABLE STANDARDS E 2110 LIST OF AFNOR STANDARDS For the procurement of products, the Manufacturer shal

14、l use the following AFNOR standards in addition to the requirements of E 2200. The equipment specification or technical documents in the purchase order can specify the standard, the nature and the grade of the product to be used. 1) Alloyed and carbon steels - Plates: NF EN 10025-1 and 2 NF EN 10028

15、-1 NF EN 10028-2 NF EN 10028-3 NF A 36-210 - Forgings: NF EN 10083-1 to 3 NF EN 10084 NF EN 10222-1 and 2 NF EN 10250-1 to 3 NF EN 10263-1 to 4 - Pipes : NF EN 10216-1 NF EN 10216-2 NF EN 10217-1 NF EN 10217-2 - Castings: NF A 32-054 NF EN 10213-2 NF EN 10213-3 - Bolting for general use: NF EN ISO 8

16、98-1 NF EN 20998-2 2) Austenitic and austenitic-ferritic stainless steels - Plates: NF EN 10028-7 NF EN 10088-2 - Castings: NF EN 10213-4 NF EN 10283 n 113-2007 E 2000 / 1 RCC-M - Edition 2007 Subsection E - Pipes: NF EN 10216-5 NF EN 10217-7 NF A 49-214 - Bars: NF EN 10088-3 NF EN 10263-5 NF EN 102

17、69 For standard NF EN 10269, if grade X6NiCrTiMoVB 25-15-2 is used, heat treatments shall be carried out according to the requirements stipulated in specification M 5110. - Bolting for general use: NF EN ISO 3506-1 NF EN ISO 3506-2 E 2120 ACCEPTANCE CONDITIONS The products will be ordered according

18、to standard NF EN 10021 with a specific inspection and delivered with an acceptance certificate, the indications of which correspond at least to those required in the type 3.1 specific inspection certificate according to standard NF EN 10204. E 2130 OTHER STANDARDS Subject to the Contractors approva

19、l, the Manufacturer may propose application of other French or foreign standards containing, either directly or by means of addenda, the technical requirements considered to be equivalent. E 2200 ADDITIONAL PROVISIONS The details below shall be taken into account when applying the standards mentione

20、d in E 2100. E 2210 MELTING PROCESS - CHEMICAL COMPOSITION E 2211 CARBON AND ALLOY STEELS FOR WELDING When dealing with carbon and alloy steel products for welding, the killed grades will be selected and a ladle analysis will be made of the contents of the following elements: C 0.25%; S 0.040%; P 0.

21、040%. E 2000 / 2 n 113-2007 RCC-M - Edition 2007 Subsection E E 2212 CHEMICAL COMPOSITION OF AUSTENITIC OR AUSTENITIC FERRITIC STAINLESS STEELS If the risk of intergranular corrosion is to be taken into account, this is specified in the documents attached to the purchase order. In this case only tho

22、se austenitic or austenitic-ferritic stainless grades with a very low carbon content or which are stabilized shall be adopted. E 2213 CAST CARBON STEELS Usable NF A 32-054 grades are GE 230, GE 280, GE 320 and GE 370. E 2220 HEAT TREATMENTS The products shall be delivered in the heat treated conditi

23、on as per the reference standard (or in the solution heat treated condition for austenitic or austenitic-ferritic stainless steels). If the product is to be subjected to stress relieving heat treatment, any lowering of the mechanical properties of it as a result of these treatments must be evaluated

24、 to ensure compatibility with the acceptable stresses used in the calculations. Standard NF A 36-200 may be used for this. E 2230 EXAMINATION E 2231 PIPING Instrumentation piping shall be subjected to ultrasonic examination as per the procedures and criteria laid down in standard NF A 49-214. E 2232

25、 CASTING PARTS The welding areas of castings shall be subjected to liquid penetrant examination. Additional magnetic particle, liquid penetrant or radiographic examination may be required and will then be mentioned in the equipment specification or the technical documents attached to the purchase or

26、der. In this case, it is recommended that the following be respected: - magnetic particle examination as per standard NF EN 1369, - liquid penetrant examination as per standard NF EN 1371-1. For both these examination methods, the faults to be eliminated or repaired are those giving linear or non li

27、near indications of a dimension greater than 5 mm. Only indications greater than 2 mm are taken into account, - radiographic examination as per standard NF EN 12681 with severity level according Annex A: . 1 for welding areas . 3 for the other parts. Note: The test class (A or B) as per standard EN

28、444 will be specified to the order. n 113-2007 E 2000 / 3 RCC-M - Edition 2007 Subsection E E 2000 / 4 n 113-2007 RCC-M - Edition 2007 Subsection E E 3000 DESIGN E 3100 GENERAL DESIGN RULES E 3110 INTRODUCTION Subchapter E 3100 gives the general requirements applicable to vessels, heat exchangers an

29、d piping. Subchapter E 3200 specifies the design rules applicable to vessels and heat exchangers and subchapter E 3300 those applicable to piping. E 3120 OPERATING CONDITIONS E 3121 GENERAL During operation, a component may be subjected to various conditions: normal, upset, emergency, faulted, testi

30、ng, to which is added a conventional condition known as the design condition. These operating conditions, the associated criteria levels and the loads to be taken into account, are specified in the purchase order. E 3122 CONVENTIONAL OR DESIGN CONDITION This condition is characterized by the most se

31、vere loads to which the component is subjected under the normal conditions defined below. Unless otherwise specified in the purchase order, reference may be made to E 3160. E 3123 NORMAL CONDITIONS Normal conditions are the conditions to which the component may be subjected in the course of normal o

32、peration, i.e. steady-state power operation and transients corresponding to normal operation. E 3124 UPSET CONDITIONS Upset conditions are the conditions to which the component may be subjected in the course of normal operating incidents. n 113-2007 E 3000 / 1 RCC-M - Edition 2007 Subsection E E 312

33、5 EMERGENCY CONDITIONS Emergency conditions are the conditions to which the component may be subjected in the case of very infrequent incidents, but which must nonetheless be considered. E 3126 FAULTED CONDITIONS Faulted conditions are conditions which are highly improbable but whose consequences ar

34、e nonetheless studied. Only those conditions whose probability does not make them practically inconceivable need be considered. E 3127 TEST CONDITIONS Test conditions are the conditions to which the component is subjected during hydrostatic testing. Any other tests shall be classified under one of t

35、he categories defined above. E 3130 LOADS AND LOADINGS E 3131 LOADS ASSOCIATED WITH THE DESIGN OR REFERENCE CONDITION These loads are defined in the following subparagraphs: E 3131.1 Design or reference pressure This pressure shall not be less than the maximum difference between the internal and ext

36、ernal pressures which can exist under the conditions defined in E 3123. A single design pressure is selected for each vessel. The walls separating two chambers (e.g. heat exchanger plates and tube bundles) are analyzed separately for the design conditions of the two vessels; it is postulated that th

37、ere is no back-pressure on the outside of the vessel analyzed. E 3131.2 Design or reference temperature The temperature taken for a given zone shall not be less than the maximum value of the average wall temperature likely to be encountered in this zone under the conditions defined in E 3123. This t

38、emperature may be taken as equal to the maximum temperature of the fluid contained under normal operating conditions. This temperature must be used in conjunction with the pressure defined in E 3131.1. E 3000 / 2 n 113-2007 RCC-M - Edition 2007 Subsection E E 3131.3 Other design or reference loads O

39、ther loads to be taken into account at the same time as the design pressure may be determined and specified in the purchase order. They may chiefly concern seismic loads. E 3132 LOADS ASSOCIATED WITH NORMAL, UPSET, EMERGENCY AND FAULTED CONDITIONS Among those loads associated with the different cond

40、itions, the following shall be specified in the purchase order, where applicable: - pressure acting on the component, - loads due to weight and to connections with adjacent components, - specified seismic loads, - where applicable, thermal effects (fluid temperature and transfer conditions). E 3133

41、LOADING The set of loads corresponding to a given condition constitutes a loading. E 3140 CRITERIA LEVELS A criteria level shall be specified for each condition category. The level to be used shall be at least as severe as the one stipulated in E 3150. A set of stress limits is associated with each

42、criteria level. The limits imposed depend on the objectives of this chapter which concern mechanical integrity. E 3150 MINIMUM CRITERIA LEVELS APPLICABLE IN THE VARIOUS CONDITION CATEGORIES E 3151 DESIGN CONDITION Level O criteria shall be met under design conditions. E 3152 NORMAL CONDITIONS Level

43、A criteria shall be met under normal conditions. E 3153 UPSET CONDITIONS Level B criteria shall be met under upset conditions. n 113-2007 E 3000 / 3 RCC-M - Edition 2007 Subsection E E 3154 EMERGENCY CONDITIONS The criteria stipulated in equipment specification for emergency conditions shall be at l

44、east as severe as level C criteria. E 3155 FAULTED CONDITIONS The criteria stipulated in equipment specification for faulted conditions shall be at least as severe as level D criteria. E 3160 COMBINING CONDITIONS In order to simplify matters, the design condition may include all the severest loads t

45、o which the component will be subjected during normal, upset, emergency circumstances as defined in E 3120. Provided the requirements of level O criteria are met in these conditions, the check on the equipment behaviour in faulted conditions may not be necessary if the comparison between the loads a

46、nd the criteria levels so justifies. E 3170 REQUIREMENTS CONCERNING THE APPLICATION OF THE RULES FOR DETERMINING THICKNESSES AND FOR GEOMETRIC DESIGN The rules for determining thickness referred to in this chapter use the most unfavourable loading-allowable stress kS combination occurring under the

47、conditions for which compliance with level O, A, B, C and D criteria is required, or when the positions of E 3160 relating to combinations of conditions are applied. The table below provides value of k to be used in combination with loads associated with the various conditions characterized by the a

48、pplicable criteria level. E 3220 DETERMI

49、NING MINIMUM THICKNESSES E 3221 GENERAL Cylindrical, spherical and conical walls shall meet the requirements of C 3300 relating to the determination of minimum thicknesses, as modified below in E 3222. In the event of conflict between E 3200 and C 3300, the requirements of E 3200 shall be applied. E 3222 SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS a) Paragraph C 3311is not applicable. b) The acceptable stress values S, determined in compliance with the requirements of Z III 300, shall be multiplied by a fac
