1、The Teleconmiunications Industry Association represents the conmiunications sector of NOTICE TIAIEIA Engineering Standards and Publications are designed to serve the public interest through eliminating misunderstandings between manufacturers and purchasers, facilitating interchangeability and improv
2、ement of products, and assisting the purchaser in selecting and obtaining with minimum delay the proper product for his particular need. Existence of such Standards and Publications shall not in any respect preclude any member or nonmember of TIAIEIA from manufacturing or selling products not confor
3、ming to such Standards and Publications, nor shall the existence of such Standards and Publications preclude their voluntary use by those other than TIAIEIA members, whether the standard is to be used either domestically or internationally. Standards and Publications are adopted by TIAIEIA in accord
4、ance with the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) patent policy. By such action, TIAIEIA does not assume any liability to any patent owner, nor does it assume any obligation whatever to parties adopting the Standard or Publication. TIA STANDARDS TIA Standards contain information deemed to b
5、e of technical value to the industry, and are published at the request of the originating Committee without necessarily following the rigorous public review and resolution of comments which is a procedural part of the development of a TIAIEIA Standard. TIA Standards should be reviewed on an annual b
6、asis by the formulating Committee and a decision made on whether to proceed to develop a TIAIEIA Standard on this subject. TIA Standards must be cancelled by the Committee and removed from the TIAIEIA Standards Catalog before the end of their third year of existence. Publication of this TIA Standard
7、 for trial use and comment has been approved by the Telecommunications Industry Association. Distribution of this TIA Standard for comment shall not continue beyond 60 months from the date of publication. It is expected that following this 36 month period, this TIA Standard, revised as necessary, wi
8、ll be submitted to the American National Standards Institute for approval as an American National Standard. Suggestions for revision should be directed to: Standards for systems where more than one earth station is expected to transmit simultaneously in the same bandwidth, e.g., CDMA systems, N is t
9、he likely maximum number of simultaneously transmitting cofrequency earth stations in the receive beam of the satellite; N=l for TDMA and FDMA systems. The values given in 1) and 2) may be exceeded by 3 dB for values of -lo“, provided that the total angular range over which this occurs does not exce
10、ed 20“ when measured along both sides of the GSO arc. 13、ations employing uplink power control, the values in i), 2), and 4) may be exceeded by up to 20 dB under conditions of uplink fading due to precipitation. The amount of such increase in excess of the amount of monitored excess attenuation over clear sky propagation conditions shall not exceed 1.5 dB
14、 or 15% of the actual amount of monitored excess attenuation in dB, whichever is larger, with a confidence level of 90 %, except over transient periods accounting for no more than 0.5% of the time during which the excess is no more that 4.0 dB. 3.2 Limitations on Earth Terminal Harmonics and Spuriou
15、s Emissions (Applicable Reference: 4) 3.2.1 Earth Terminal Off-Axis SDurious Radiation The specification of this parameter covers all kinds of unwanted emission in the frequency range, from 30 MHz to 40 GHz, emitted by terminals operating in the 28.35-28.6 GHz and 29.5-30.0 GHz frequency bands. All
16、directions are considered except for a cone around the transmit axis with an opening of 7“. 17、 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 The following specifications apply to earth terminals transmitting at EIRP values up to and including EIRPmax: 1) The earth terminal shall not exceed the limits for radiated interference field strength over the frequency range from 30 MHz to 100
18、0 MHz, as specified in Table 3.2.1- 1. 1230 MHz to 1 O00 MHzI 37 The lower limits shall apply at the transition frequency. 2) When the earth terminal is in the Transmission Disabled state, the off-axis spurious radiation from the earth terminal, in any 100 kHz band, shall not exceed the limits in Ta
19、ble 3.2.1-2, for all off-axis angles greater than 7“. Table 3.2.1-2.
