2、and hblications are designed to serve the public interest through eliminating misunderstandings between manufacturers and purchasers, facilitating interchangeability and improvement of products, and assisting the purchaser in selecting and obtaining with minimum delay the proper product for his part
3、icular need. Existence of such Standards and hblications shall not in any respect preclude any member or nonmember of TIAEIA from manufacturing or selling products not conforming to such Standards and hblications, nor shall the existence of such Standards and hblications preclude their voluntary use
4、 by those other than TIAEIA members, whether the standard is to be used either domestically or internationally. Standards and hblications are adopted by TIA/EIA in accordance with the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) patent policy. By such action, TIA/EIA does not assume any liability to
5、 any patent owner, nor does it assume any obligation whatever to parties adopting the Standard or hblication. TIA/EIA INTERIM STANDARDS TIAEIA Interim Standards contain information deemed to be of technical value to the industry, and are published at the request of the originating Committee without
6、necessarily following the rigorous public review and resolution of comments which is a procedural part of the development of a TIAEIA Standard. TIA/EIA Interim Standards should be reviewed on an annual basis by the formulating Committee and a decision made on whether to proceed to develop a TIMEIA S
7、tandard on this subject. TIAEIA Interim Standards must be cancelled by the Committee and removed from the TIAEIA Standards Catalog before the end of their third year of existence. hblication of this TIAEIA Interim Standard for trial use and comment has been approved by the Telecommunications Industr
8、y Association. Distribution of this TIAEIA Interim Standard for comment shall not continue beyond 36 months from the date of publication. It is expected that following this 36 month period, this TIAEIA Interim Standard, revised as necessary, will be submitted to the American National Standards Insti
9、tute for approval as an American National Standard. Suggestions for revision should be directed to: Standards e.g., Al. If a value is present, it identifies the teleservice used for interpreting the bearer data. Indicates that this is a BTTC message and provides a specific subject matter of the Tele
10、service payload (e.g., emergency, system operator announcement, advertisement, sports) to be broadcast. Indicates relevant data pertaining to this broadcast message, for a specific broadcast category (e.g., Indication of preferred language). Uniquely identifies the broadcast message over the network
11、 originating from a particular SME (i.e., unique on a per-SME! basis). Indicates whether the broadcast message is new, or a replacement of an existing message with the same identification. Indicates the priority of broadcast for the Indicates the recommended start time, duration, and repetition rate
12、 of the broadcast (e.g., start time: 0900 hours, duration: 2 hours and repetition rate: every 5 minutes). Identifies the broadcast target mobile station audience (e.g., Target Service Group). Indicates the requested geographical area over which the message should be broadcast (e.g., cells, sectors o
13、r both within an MSC, or whole MSC; absence of both this parameter and BroadcastZoneIdentifierList indicates all MSCs within the broadcast domain of MC). Teleservice payload. 14、hin an MSC, or whole MSC; absence of both this parameter and BroadcastZoneIdentifier indicates all MSCs within the broadcast domain of MC). 15、 and is required for TDMA. The parameters, BroadcastZoneIdentifier, and BroadcastZoneIdentifierList, are mutually exclusive. Indicates a list of MC remapped geographical areas over which the message should be broadcast (e.g., cells, sectors or both within an MSC, or whole MSC; absence of both this parameter and BroadcastZoneIdentifier, indicates whole MSC). The MSCs process the received BTTI parameters to determine the broadcasting characteristics (e.g., priority and zone). The MSC (via the selected cell or sectors) broadcasts the SMD-REQUEST for reception by all ac
20、tive destination MS-based SMEs. Include the following information (as appropriate based on the air interface specification): i. Parameters I Usage SMSBearerData I Any desired message. SMS-OriginalOriginating- of the originating SME; i.e., Address I SMSBTTI: Applicable for CDMA. For CDMA, the MC reen
