6、ENTIAL PROJECT SPECIFICATION CLAUSES 1.1 Set out: suitable clauses in Portion 2 of the project specification to provide essont-ial information as follcws: a) (Subclause 3.2.1) Wherc non-standard sllapes nlicl dinicnsions are required, state the requirentents. b) (Subclause 3.7.1) If a grade of concr

7、ete other than 25 MIa is required or is acceptable, set out the requirements. (See also Subclause 2.1 of Sectj.on MK of Part. 3 of the code.) c) (Subciauses 5.11 and 8.2.6) Give details of the requirements for grids, covers, frames, etc., for inlet and outlet structures. 2. ESSENTIAL DATA 2 . .l The

8、 availability of certain essential data may affect the p:i.ces tendered. Except where such data have been given in t.he schedule or in the tender drawings, set out suitable clauses covering items such as the following in Portion 2 of the project specification: a) (Subclause 3.9) Specify and schedule

9、 concrete hedding if required. (See al.so Subclause 1.3.2 of section MK of Part 3 of the code.) b) (Subclause 5.5) State the grade that is to be used for cast-in-situ concrete. C) (Subclauses 5.6, 8.2.10, and 8.2.14) State the material to be used on top of the excavation before concrete is placed, a

10、nd give details of the construction of sealed joints for concrete-lined open drains. (See also Subclause 3.1.2 of Section MK of Part 5 of the code.! cl) (Subclause 8.2.6.2) State what painting or protective coating is required on components (sw l.l(c) above) . 3. ACDITlONAL CLAUSES 3.1 GENEPAL. Wher

11、e it. is necessary to amplify or otherwise t.o vary tht? terms of SABS l200 MK to render them suitable for use in projects to be carried out in particular locations or under particular circumstances, include in Portion 2 of the project specification clauses dealing with matters other than those cove

12、red by Clauses 1 and 2 above. NOTE: To meet requirements inlposed by various norms of economic development, projects are classified as normal, prestige, subeconomic, and labour-based projects (see Clause 4 of Section 0 of Part 3 of the code) .
