ScopeThe mechanical stop lamp switch is an operator activated mechanical device intended primarily tocontrol the func
5、tioning of the stop lamp and high mounted stop lamp circuits. Secondarily, the device maycontrol the functioning of various accessories, such as disengaging cruise control, with operator actuation ofbrake pedal.1.1 PurposeThis standard defines the test conditions, procedures, and performance specifi
6、cations for 6-, 12-,and 24-V manually actuated mechanical stop lamp switches.2. ReferencesThere are no referenced publications specified herein.3. Test Requirements3.1 Test Equipment and Instrumentation3.1.1 POWER SUPPLYThe power supply shall comply with the following specifications:a. Output Curren
7、tCapable of supplying the continuous and in-rush currents of the design load(reference paragraph 3.2.1.1).b. Regulation:DynamicThe output voltage at the supply shall not deviate more than 1.0 V from zero to maximumload (including in-rush current) and should recover 63% of its maximum excursion withi
8、n 100 ms.StaticThe output voltage at the supply shall not deviate more than 2% with changes in static loadfrom zero to maximum (not including in-rush current), and means shall be provided to compensate forstatic input line voltage variations.c.
