9、 EXISTING PIPING FOR LEVEE APPLICATIONS05/13*NOTE: This guide specification covers the requirements for the procurement, installation, and testing of slip lining for existing exterior piping.Adhere to UFC 1-300-02 Unified Facilities Guide Specifications (UFGS) Format Standard when editing this guide

11、 respective project, whether or not brackets are present.Comments, suggestions and recommended changes for this guide specification are welcome and should be submitted as a Criteria Change Request (CCR).*PART 1 GENERAL1.1 SUMMARYThis section of the specifications consists of the requirements and wor
12、k needed to rehabilitate an existing pipes in a levee system using the slip lining method by providing pipe liners, bulkheads, annular space grouting between the host and slip liner, performance testing as stated herein and providing all labor, materials and equipment necessary to accomplish the wor
13、k as stated herein. In all instances, rehabilitation shall include installation of a liner pipe within an existing host pipe with a continuously grouted annular space. The sizes, types, and dimensions of the pipe liners shall be selected by the Contractor and submitted for approval and shall include
14、 all connections, joints, and other appurtenances as required to complete the work.1.2 MEASUREMENT AND PAYMENTPayment will be made for work performed under this item in accordance with theeach pipe slip lined as shown in the bid schedule.
