9、portable unit aluminum case, hydraulic panel and capable of checkhg the performance of Exploder Mechanism Mk i9 Type. test set is comprised of the following: applicable equipment test lead assembly, electrical plate assembly, and an input power cable. 2 The arming device simulator, two terminal ring

Unless otherwise specified in the conrract or order, preproduction samples of the test set shall be manufactured- using the methods and ptocedures proposed for tho production, The sample will be tested as specified in Section 4 herein and is for the purpose of deter-

13、mining, prior to production, that the contractors production methods are capable of yielding items that comply with the technical requirements of the contrae t. 3.2.2 Materials. Unless otherwise specified in the contract, requisi- tion, or order, all materials and purchased parts entering into the f

14、inal assembly of the test set shall conform strictly -to the detailed require- ments indicated in the drawings and specifications listed in EIAVR LD 29141Cr. 3.2.3 Finishes, coatings, construction, and dimensions, Finiches, coat- ings, construction, and,dimensianq of the test set shall be strictly i

15、n ac- cordance with applicable drawings, SpeEifications, and publications listed in IUVORD LD.291414. ,- * 3,2.4- Moisture. fungus, and corrosion. The test set shall be rendered moistre, fungus, and corrosion resistant in accordanSe with detailed re- quirements specified in the drawings anid specifi

The class or fit for threads shall be as specified on the applicable drawings. 3.2.7 Conflicting requirements. In the eve

18、nt of conflict between the documents referenced herein and the-contents of this specification, the contents of this specification shall apply. 3,3 Definitions. The test se? shall meet the following performance requirements and product characteris- tics: 3 3,4.1 Power

20、requirements. The test set shall operate from a 115 volts plus or minus 10 percent at 60 Hz plus or niinus 5 percent input and ghall generate working voltage as follows: 3.4.1.1 Voltage output, Voltmeters Mi. and M2 shall be accurate within It plus or minus 3 percent. voltages at the following worki

21、ng currents: 3.4.1.1.1 150 Solts dc at 10 ma. The test set shall generate the following workine. 3,4,1.1,2 24 volts dc at 2.0 amp- 3.4.1.1.3 3.4.1,1.4 6 volts dc at 2.0 amps. 115 volts ac, 400 Hz at 0.5 amps, . 22、pmp, shall be capable .of supplying 610 to 620 psig water pres- sure for checking the operation of the exploder mechanism hydrsstatic switches and O-ring seals. Gage accuracy shall be intaaccordance with . MIL- 1-18997. 3.4,3 Firin;! switch circuit. The test set shall show an indicaton of exploder f

23、iring switch closure.in an armed exploder. 3.4.3.1 Calibration of firing switch circuit, The firing switch cir- cuit shall operate with a resistance of 0.92 ohm. 3.4.3.2 Firing switch circuit resistor R16, The resistor plus associated wiring and connector test Lead shall have a value within the rang

24、e of 0.99 - ohm miniinurn and 1.08 ohms maximum, 3.4.3.3 The resistance between terminals “A“ and “E“ of the terminal ring assembly shall not exceed 0.1 ohm maximum when TEST SELECTRswitch S3 is set at the FIRING SWITCH position. 3,4,4 Arming device simulator, The arming device simulator shall resis

The voltages and polarities for the var- ious mods of exploders shall be selected in accordance with 4.5.4.7, 3.4.6 Hydrostatic pressure. With 850 plus or minus 25 psin applied to the test set, there shall be no pressure drop after t

27、he system stabilizes in a maximum of 30 minutes at constant room temperature, * k * 3.4.7 Gag accuracies. The 0-60 and 0-1000 psi gage accuracies shall. be in accordance with MIL-1-18997. 3.5 Environmental requirements 3.5.1 Vibration, The test set shall be capable of withstanding vibra- tion requir

28、ements as follows: 3.5.1.1 Vibration, transportation. When packaged and packed as speci- fied in Section 5, the test set, after being subjected to the tests spec- ified in 4+4#1,1, shall show no damage and shall meet all the performance requirements and product characteristics of this specification.

Prior to and after final assembly, all parts, components, and the assembly shall be thoroughly cleaned of loose, spattered, or excess solder, me

36、tal chips, and other foreign matter. Burrs and sharp edges, as well as rosin flash, shall be removed. 3.7 Workmanship, The equipment, including all parts and accessories, shall be constxucted and finished in a manner to ensure cmpliance wlth all requirements of this publication. Particular attention

37、 shall be paid to neatness and thoroughness of soldering, wiring, impregnation of cils, markings of parts and assemblies, plating, painting, rivethg, welding, brazing, and freedom of parts from burrs and sharp edges. The standards of workmanship exhibited in any appraved-preproduction sample, subjec

38、t to any qualification.stated in the Governments notice- of approval, shall be determinatiye of the requirements of the contract relative to workmanship insofar as not specifically covered by applicable specifications.- 4, QUALITY ASSURANCE, PROVISIONS 4.1 Responsibility for insgectign. Unless other

39、wis,e specified in the contract or purchase order, the supplier is respansible for the performance , of all inspection requirementsas specified herein. Except as otherwise specified in the contract or order, the supplier may use his own or any other facilities suitable for the performance of the ins

40、pection require- ments specified herein, unless disapproved by the Gaverment, The Govern- ment reserves the right to perform any of the inspections set forth in the specification where such inspections are deemed necessary to assure supplies and services conform to prescribed requirements. 4,2 Class

Unless otherwise specified by the prccuc- ing activity, a preproduction sample of five test sdts mnuEactured in accordance with 3.2.1 shall be subjected

Ac- ceptance of the preprQduction sample shall be based on no defects in the sample, the approval of the preproduction sample, shall be at the suppliers-risk. Further production of the rest sets by the

44、 suppller, prior to 4.3.2 Periodic production sampling, Periodic production samples shalt be randomly selected from units that hsve satisfactorily passed the quality conformance inspections of 4.5. tests of 4.4 at an activity designated by the procuring activity. othervise specified by the procuring
