SCOPE * -1.1 -Scope.- This

REQUIFSXENTS 3.1 Guide sample.- Sample, when furnished, is solely for guidance and Variation from this specificati

12、 of the production items, * 3.2 First article.- When specified (see 6.2), before production is The 3.3 Materials .- 3.3.1 Basic material.- The basic material for the shirts shall be cotton, chambray cloth, USAF Blue 1515, conforming to type I, style A (3.0 oz,) of ccc-c-231. * 3.3,2 Buttons.- Front

13、closure buttons shall be White BA, Cable No. 62031, type II, class K, style 25, Jl-line, conforming to V-B-871. 3.3,3 Labels.- Each shirt shall have an identification label arLd a size label, conforming to type I, class 1 a.:d 2 respectively, of DDD-L-20, fastness requirements to laundering shall ap

The * 3.3,4 Thread,- The thread shall be cotton, White Ali, C.A. 66050 conforming to type IA2, tickets No. 60, 3 ply and 70, 2 ply of V-T-276. * 3.4 Design.- The shirt has a plain front with cut-on facings, five button front closure, open-neck collar with pointed ends, short sleeves and one pat

15、ch pocket on left front (see figure 1). * 3.4.1 Figure.- Figure 1 is furnished for information only. To the extent of any inconsistencies between the written specification and the figure, the written specification shall govern, * 3.5 Patterns.- Standard patterns which provide an allowance of 1/4 inc

17、vernment. . The standard patterns shall not be altered in any way, and are to be used as a guide for cutting suppliers working patterns. The working patterns shall be identical to the standard patterns. In the safety-stitch construction (operations 8, 11 and la), the 1/2 inch seam allowance shall be

31、.1 Responsibility for inspection,- Unless otherwise specified in the contract or purchase order, the supplier is responsible for the performance of all inspection -requirements -as -specified herein. J3xcept as otherwise speci- fied in the contract or order, the supplier may use his own or any other

32、 facilities suitable for the performance of the inspection requirements speci- fied herein, unless disapproved by the Government. The Government reserves the right -to perform any of thelinspections set forth in the specification where such inspections are deenednecessary to asciire supplies and ser

33、vices . . zonform to prescribed requirements. * 4.2 First article inspection.- Vhen required, the preproduction sample - submitted in accordance with3.2, shall be inspected as specified in 4.3,2.1 through 4.3.2.3 for compliance with design, construction, worlananship and dimensional requirements. *

34、4.3 Inspection.- Sampling for =inspection shall be performed in accordance wth MIL-STD-105 except where-otherwise indicated hereinafter. 4-3.1 Component and material inspeclion.- dn-accordance with 4,L above, - -components and materials shall be tested inaccordance with all the -requirements of refe

35、renced specifications, drawings and standards unless otherwise excluded, amended, modified or qualified in this Specification or applicable purchase documents. 4.3.2 Examination of the end item.- The classification of defects found during the-examination shall hein accordance with CF, class weather-

36、resistant, variety DW, grade V15c of MIL-B-17757. Level A packages shall be packed flat with every five reversed, 25 in depth within a shipping container.-Toward the end of the contract or order, or when there are less than the required amount of the same size per rcontainer, mixed sizes may be pack

37、ed within the same shipping -container. The fiberboard for the box liner shall conform to type . * 5.2.2 Level B.- aenty-five shirts -of one size only, -packaged as specified in 5.1, shall be packed ina fiberboard shipping container, assembled and closed conforming to class domestic, grade 200, si2e

42、y the contract ar order, shipping containers shall be marked in accordance with Mil-STD-129. 5.3.1 Labels, mixed sizes.- Each shipping container, packed with mixed sizes, shall have securely attached to the end and side, directly under the printing or stenciling, a white paper-iabel 5 by 4 inches wi

43、th the words “MIXED SIZES“ plainly stamped or printed thereon and under these words shall be legiblystamped or printed the correct quantity and sizes contained therein. 76. NOTES * 6.1 Intended use.- The shirt covered by this specification is intended for wear with the exercise shorts, exercise skir

44、t, or slacks, by female personnel of the Department of Defense. 6.2 Ordering .data.- Procurement -documents should specify -the following : a) ,Title, number -and date of-this specification. (b) Size(s) required (see 1.2) . (c) First article.- Whether preproduction sample.is required (d) Selection o
