Except as otherwise specified in the contract, the contractor may use his own or any other facilities suitable for the performance of the inspection requirements specified herein, unle

The Government reserves the right to perform any or all of the inspections set forth in the specification where such inspections are deemed necessary to assure supplies and services conform to prescribed requirements. 4.2 Classification of inspection. 12、irst article inspection. First article inspection shall consist of all the examinations and tests of this specification. 4.3.1 First article samples. Unless otherwise specified, as soon as practicable after award of contract or order, the manufacturer shall submit three indicators of each part numbe

13、r for first article testing. The samples shall be representative of the construction, work- manship, components, and materials to be used during production. When a manufacturer is in continuous production OE these indicators from contract to contract, submission OF further first article samples on t

14、he new contract may be waived at the discretion of the procuring activity (see 6.5). Approval of the first article samples or the waivlng of the first article inspection does not preclude the requirements of submitting to the quality conformance inspection. The first article sample shall be furnishe

15、d to the Government as directed by the contracting officer (see 6.5). Each sample shall be plainly identified by a securely attached durable tag marked with the following information: Samples for first article inspection Submitted by (name) (date) for tests in accordance with the requirements of spe

16、cification MIL-I-7906A under authorization (reference letter authorizing test). The samples may be consumed or destroyed in the first article inspection and shall not be considered as part of the quantity to be delivere

18、d under contract (see 6.5).“ PAGE 8 4.4 Delete in its entirety and substitute the following: “4.4 Quality conformance inspection. The quality conformance inspection of the indicator shall consist of the individual tests and the sampling plan of this specification.“ PAGE 12 4.6.8 Loop and Roll - Dele

19、te in its entirety and substitute: “4.6.8 Loop and roll. The indicator shall be mounted in a level position on a test fixture permitting rotation about the horizontal and lateral axis and allowed to reach equilibrium. The indicator shall be a looped through one complete revolution (inside loop) at a

20、 rate of 10 +i degrees per second. 23、ns of 7-104.9(n) of the Defense Acquisition Regulations, the data requirements identified below will be developed as specified by an approved Data Item Description (DD Form 1664) and delivered in accordance with the approved Contract Data Requirements List (DD Form 1423) incorporated into the contra

24、ct. When the provisions of DAR-7-104.9(n) are not invoked the data specified below will be delivered by the contractor in accordance with the contract requirements.
