The filters furnished un-der this specification shall be a product whichhas been tested and has passed the Qualifka-tion tests specified herein.3.

3、2 Materials. Materials and .proeessesusedin the manufacture of these filters shall beof high quality, suitable for the purpose in-tended and shall conform to applicable Gov-ernment specifications. Materials conformingto contractors specifications may be usedprovided the specifications are approved b

4、ythe Gove,mment and contain provisions foradequate tests. The use of contractors specifications will not constitute wahrer of Gov-ernment inspection!.3,2.1 Mchds. AIi metals used in the ccm-struction of ihese filters, except metal in con-stant contact with the hydraulic fluid. shall beof a comosiomr

5、esistant or shall be ade-quately protected to resist corrosion duringthe normai service life of the filter.3.2.1.1 Diseimilav metde. The use of dia-similnr metals in contact with each other (par-ticularly brass, copper, or steel in contact withaluminum, magnesium, or their alloys) shallbe avoided. W

6、here contact between dissimilarmetals i9 unavoidable, they shall be suitablyprotected aiti electrolytic corrosion.3.2.2 Plastic pads. The use of plastic patishall be subject to the approval of the Servicesfor the specific application involved.3.2.3 Replaceable jilter dewurnt materhb.When replaceable
