This commercial item description covers a pressure sensitive nu

2、meric legend identification label for x-ray film folders. Salient characteristics: The identification marker shall be a numerical, color-coded label, coated one side with pressure-sensitive permanent acrylic adhesive. Each marker shall contain a single numeral, printed twice. The numeral shall be wh

3、ite on the background color specified, except for the numeral “-6“ which shall be black on a white background. The numerals and background colors shall be as follows: Numeral Numeral Color Background Color White White White White White White Black White White White Orange Green Yellow Gray Black Blu

4、e White Brown Pink Red Each identification marker roll shall contain one thousand 1-7/8 inch by 1-7/8 inch (4.75 cm by 4.75 cm) markers. 6、ears on the front and back when folded around the vertical edge of a folder. The numeral shall be printed parallel and adjacent to the left and right margins of the label in order that the numerals are vertical during folder storage. Mylar coated labels are not acceptable. Workmanship. The identific

7、ation marker shall be free from defects which detract from its appearance or impair its serviceability. Unit. Roll (RO). One roll of 1000 identification markers, of one type only, as specified, constitutes one unit. Quality Assurance Provisions. Responsibility for inspection. Unless otherwise specif

8、ied in the contract or.purchas-e order, the contractor is responsible for the performance of al1 inspection requirements as specified herein. Except as otherwise specified in the contract or purchase order, the contractor may use his own or any facilities suitable for the performance of the inspecti

9、on requirements specified herein, unless disapproved by the Government. The Government reserves the right to perform any of the inspections set forth in the specification where such inspections are deemed necessary to assure supplies and services conform to prescribed requirements . Records. Records

10、 of examinations and tests performed by or for the contractor shall be maintained by the contractor and made available to the Government upon the Governments request, at any time, or from time to time, during the performance of the contract and for a period of three years after delivery of the suppl

11、ies to which such records relate. Inspection. Inspection, as used herein, is defined as both examination (such as visual or auditory investigation without the use of special laboratory appliances or procedures) and testing (determination by technical means of physical and chemical properties) of the

12、 item. Tests. Tests shall be conducted to determine compliance with specification requirements. 13、-A-A-53 004 Sampling. Sampling for examination shall be conducted in accordance with MIL-STD-105 and table I. 15、ation of defects. Examination shall be conducted in accordance with the classification of defects listed in table II. Examination shall not be restricted to the classified possible defects below. The contractor shall certify that the product offered meets the salient characteristics of this description and conforms to the producers own drawings, specifications, standards, and quality assurance practices and i

19、s suitable for the purpose intended. The Government reserves the right to require proof of such conformance prior to first delivery and thereafter as may be otherwise provided for under ehe provisions of the contract. Regulatory requirements. Federal Food, Druq and Cosmetic Act. If the product cover

20、ed by this document has been determined by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to be under its jurisdiction, the offeror/contractor shall comply, and be responsible for compliance by its subcontractors/suppliers, with the requirements of the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act, as amended, and reg

21、ulations promulgated thereunder. In addition, the offeror/contractor shall comply, and be responsible for compliance by its subcontractors/suppliers, with the requirements of all other applicable Federal, State, and local statutes, ordinances, and regulations. a Recovered materials. The offeror/cont

22、ractor is encouraged to use recovered material in accordance with Public Law 94-580, as amended, and as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation Subpart 23.4 to the maximum extent practical. Preservation, packaqing, packinq, labeling, and markinq. Unless otherwise specified, preservation, packa

23、ging, and packing shall be to a degree of protection to preclude damage to containers and/or contents thereof under shipping conditions, handling, etc:, involving shipment from the supply source to the receiving activity, plus reshipment from receiving activity, and shall conform to applicable carri
