2、nse. Description - The waist of the trouser shall be finished with elastic. The leg openings may be finished with or without elastic. The elastic at the openings shall be attached with a seam or the elastic may be encased in heat sealed tunnels. The joining seams shall be heat sealed (non-embossed)

3、to finish on the inside of the garment. Material - The trouser shall be made of a yellow plastic film, flexible, Vinylchloride, 0.0080 (t0.0008) - inch thick, conforming to type I, class 2 of L-P-375, except that the requirements for extraction in soapy water, volatility, resistance to weathering, c

4、old crack, and lacquer lifting shall not apply. No pinholes are allowed. Sizes and measurements - The trouser shall be one type in one size. All measurements and tolerances are expressed in inches. The finished trousers shall have the following dimensions when measured flat: Waist (fully expanded ac

8、ed in a permanent and visible manner with the manufacturers name, contract number, and national stock number. _I Workmanship - After completion, the trousers shall be thoroughly cleaned and all foreign matter removed. Product demonstration model - Offerers are required to submit 2 (two) trousers of

9、their intended production and style. Product demonstration model will consist of units independently developed. Product demonstration models will be analyzed and evaluated by the Government. Evaluation criteria and basis for award are contained in the solicitation. Production demonstration models wi

10、ll be retained by the Government. One (1) product demonstration model approved by DPSC under the resultant contract will serve as a manufacturing standard for the corresponding production i tems delivered under this contract. Offerers are advised that the product demonstration model does not relieve

11、 the successful offerer of his responsiblity to perform in accordance with the Commercial Item Description specified above. Responsiblity for inspection - The supplier is responsible for assuring the product conforms to the requirements. Trouser lots will be inspected to determine conformance with t

12、he Commercial Item Description and the successful offerers technical proposal as negotiated. Acceptability of trouser lots will be determined by the use of !Sampling Procedures and Tables for Inspection by Attributes“, ANSI 21.4, published by the American Society for Quality Control. Sampling proced

13、ures will be designated by the Government at the time of award. The sample unit is one trouser. The trouser will be examined for commercial type defects only. Defects - The trousers shall. be examined for the following defects: Any hole, cut, tear, open seam; any inadequate heat seal, i.e., incomple

14、te or irregular such that the seam can be pulled apart with moderate hand pressure; any component omitted or not as specified; any measurement not as specified; design other than specified; any defect not otherwise classified herein but at variance with the product demonstration model; not fabricate

15、d in accordance with the product demonstration model; label omitted, incorrect, or illegible. Preservation - The trousers shall be packaged in accordance with normal commercial practice. The use of a polyethylene film bag is not allowed. Packing - Forty (40) trousers, preserved as above, shall be pa

16、cked in a fiberboard shipping container assembled, closed and reinforced comforming to type CF, class domestic, variety DW, grade 275, size 3A of MIL-B-17757. The fiberboard for the liner shall conform to type CF, class domestic of MIL-B-17757. Each container shall have the contents completely cover

17、ed on the top and bottom with a sheet of commercial grade kraft paper. 18、ense from IHS-,-,-Palletization - When specified in the contract, item packed as specified above shall be palletized on a 4-way entry pallet in accordance with load type 1A of MIL-STD-147. Each prepared load shall be bonded in accordance with the bonding methods C and D or film bonding F or G. Palle

19、t patterns shall be in accordance with the appendix of MIL-STD-147. The pallet shall be 4-way, type IV, class 1, size 2; or fabricated from wood group I, II, III or IV, grade A of NN-P-71, or 4-way, style 1, size A, type I, class 1 fabricated from wood groups of MIL-P-15011. Interlocking of loads sh

20、all be effected by reversing the pattern of each course. If the container is of a size which does not conform to any of the patterns specified in MIL-STD-147, the pallet pattern used shall be approved by the contracting officer.
