Determination of the hanger dynamic strength in a bench test. 1.2 Foreword. Not applicable. 1.3 Applicability. For all vehicle and exhaust-system hanger attachmen
3、ts. 2 References Note: Only the latest approved standards are applicable unless otherwise specified. 2.1 External Standards/Specifications. None 2.2 GM Standards/Specifications. None 2.3 Additional References. CTS/drawing specification 3 Resources 3.1 Facilities. Oscillating or hydropulse unit with
4、closed loop force control and cycle counter. The test device shall be suitable for dynamic forces of (100 to 500) N with regard to a test frequency range of (10 to 20) Hz (sine). The test facility shall have a valid ISO certificate which is noted in a test report. 3.2 Equipment. 3.2.1 Peak Value Rec
5、order. To automatically record the force/travel amplitude, with automatic shut-off for the testing machine when the force-/travel amplitude exceeds the adjusted limiting values. 3.2.2 Test Piece Mounting and Force Application. The test piece shall be mounted such that the suspension fastening/connec
6、tion is not impaired (see Figure 1 as an example). The force application shall ensure the malleability of the suspension. 8、ece. At least 5 new production parts shall be tested. The suspension parts shall be produced as specified in the assembly drawing. 3.4 Test Time. Not applicable. 3.5 Test Required Information. Not applicable. 3.6 Personnel/Skills. Not applicable. 4 Procedure 4.1 Preparation. 4.1.1 Test Set-up. The t
9、est set-up shall be performed using the direction of force application determined from the strain collectives for the respective vehicle type and engine, which is indicated in the CTS/drawing specification. 4.2 Conditions. 4.2.1 Environmental Conditions. The test shall be performed at (+23 5) C. 4.2
10、.2 Test Conditions. Deviations from the requirements of this standard shall have been agreed upon. Such requirements shall be specified on component drawings, test certificates, reports, etc. 4.3 Instructions. The strength test shall be performed as a single-step test. 4.3.1 Test force, test frequen
11、cy, test direction, cycles of failure (N 90%), and maximum permissible dispersion (N 90% / N 10%) shall be taken from the CTS/drawing specification. 13、cation measured from load cell connection. The dynamic influence of the test device mass shall be taken into account for the test. Fm = static preload which shall be taken from CTS/drawing specification. 4.3.2 At least 5 parts shall be tested for each type to allow a statistical evaluation according
14、 to the logarithmic normal distribution. 4.3.3 Shut-off criterion for the test is the increase of the oscillation amplitude or the test frequency which automatically shuts off the testing machine as soon as the adjusted limiting values are exceeded. 4.3.4 The limiting values shall be 110 % maximum o
15、f the actual values measured at the beginning of the test. 4.3.5 If no first visible cracks occur, the test may be stopped at N 10%-value as specified by CTS/drawing specification. 4.3.6 A test protocol according to Appendix A shall be used for recording of test data and results and shall be added t
